Dean Rafferty started his new job with one important goal—turn things around for the Kenton Comets as their assistant coach. He’s been in this small town for less than two weeks and the season is already over. On the bright side, he meets a beautiful young woman who wants him to teach her how to skate.
On the not-so-bright side, she doesn’t seem to remember meeting him.
It turns out Soleil Barrett is off-limits for three very specific reasons. A) She’s the head coach’s daughter. B) Her overprotective father has forbidden her from setting foot on the ice since she was a child. C) She has short-term-memory loss and doesn’t know it.

Even though Dean tries to avoid her, somehow Soleil keeps showing up at the rink to ask him to give her skating lessons. Will Dean walk away from the most charming woman he’s ever met or will he lace up for someone who’ll forget about him when she falls asleep?
