When Nell loses the promotion she’s spent years working towards, it’s bad enough. But when it goes to her glamorous younger sister Ava – who then orchestrates Nell’s entire team being made redundant – it’s the final straw. In full-scale meltdown, Nell does the only sensible thing: she runs away and hides.
Her escape plan involves a Spanish wellness retreat, a complete reinvention and brand-new sense of zen. Unfortunately, the retreat turns out to be a caffeine-and-wifi-free spiritual bootcamp fuelled by sticks for breakfast, tree hugging and enforced emotional honesty. Worse still, Nell keeps running into Oliver – who’s super-hot, kind and seems to have everything sorted.
At the end of the retreat, Nell scrambles to fake her way into a new career as a life coach. But she’s hiding a growing mountain of lies and resentment. Then her sister Ava turns up. As does Oliver…
