“Yes, I’ve been doing it for years.”

“Why am I only hearing about this now?”

“I don’t know.”

“What exactly do you do on these poles?”

“The usual stuff.”

“Elaborate … more importantly, when can I come and watch you perform?”

I smile when he pulls my body into his. “Get your mind out of the gutter, Mr Bradley.”

“Oh, it’s one hundred percent in the gutter, Miss Maloney.”

“I can tell, you have that look.”

“What look?”

“That look you get.”

“Hmm, I have a look?”

“You most definitely have a look.”

“So when can I see you in action?”

“You’ll have to come to the studio for that.”

“If I install a pole in our bedroom, will you give me a private show?”

“Our bedroom?”

“Yes … well it will be when you move in.”

I gasp. “I’m not moving in with you.”

“Not straight away, but one day you will.”

“Will I now?”

“You better believe it, sweetheart.”

Trying to get some grownup time together has been a struggle. With our jobs, and Bridge, it doesn’t leave a lot of free time. I’ve snuck over a few nights after Blake’s gone to bed, and Mason steals kisses or cheeky butt grabs whenever his son’s back is turned, or he’s out of the room, but since we have to keep things PG in front of him—because we’ve yet to tell him that we’re a couple—it’s been tough.

There’s been plenty of flirty and dare I say dirty texts during the day and late-night phone calls, which usually ends with Mason begging me to come over and ride his big man sausage—because he’s never going to let me live that one down—or to sit on his face. He’s relentless, but I don’t mind. Our busy lives are actually forcing us to take things slow. I don’t want to fall too fast too soon and end up with a broken heart. But he makes me happy—happier than I ever thought possible.

Mason’s hands move down to my arse, squeezing tight. “I need you, Red. It’s been days, I’m desperate for your pussy,” he informs me, peppering kisses along my jawline.

“Don’t you have an early meeting you need to get to?” I say, untangling myself from his arms. I want him too, but Blake is brushing his teeth and could walk in any minute. “I also need to get your son to school.”

“What are your plans for later today?” he asks, following me into the kitchen.

“I don’t have any. I’m heading to the shops to grab some groceries for my apartment, and stuff for dinner for you and Blake. After that I’m coming home. I have washing to do.”

“My meeting should be done by ten. I’ll meet you back here at eleven.”

“Why?”
