“Nicky, congratulations on finding your forever person,” Prescott said. “We love you, brother. To you and Addison.”

The men clinked glasses and tossed back the top-shelf liquor as the women joined their group.

Addison hugged Prescott. “I was worried you’d be out of town. You’ve been away so much for work.”

“No way was I missing this,” he replied. “Is your dad here?”

“He said he’d stop by later,” Addison said. “When I told him Livy and Jericho had some lawn games, he got cold feet.”

“Sounds like him,” Prescott replied.

“Where’s Liam?” Stryker asked. Liam Savage was Jericho and Liv’s baby.

“He’s with his Auntie Georgia,” Jericho replied. “Me and Livy need a night out.”

Liv wrapped her arm around Jericho. “Date night.”

“We’re headed to Jericho Road tonight, right?” Danielle, Cooper’s fiancée, asked.

“We better,” Addison replied. “I need to get my line-dancing on with my man.” Clasping Hawk’s hand, she led him away to welcome their other guests.

Jericho and Liv headed toward the kitchen to check on the caterers.

When Stryker and his wife, Emerson—along with Cooper and Danielle—left to mingle with other ALPHA Ops, Rebel said, “I rearranged the schedule at Asylum and moved your res from midnight to ten.”

“Now,that’swhat I’m talking about,” Prescott said with a smile. “I owe you, brother.”

“You work all the damn time. You gotta have a little fun.”

Guilt slithered through him. “No, I don’t.”

Rebel squeezed his shoulder. “Don’t be so hard on yourself. Isn’t it time to let that one go?”

“Would you, if you were me?”

Rebel broke eye contact for a second. “Yeah, if I’d done what you did, I probably would.”

“Well, lucky for you, you’re not me,” Prescott replied.

Jacqueline

With a gift-wrappedbox in her arms, Jacqueline entered the beautiful estate home.

Wow, this is stunning. I’d get lost living in a house this big.

Liv, and a muscular man with long hair, greeted her.

“Jacqueline, it’s good to meet you in person,” Liv Savage said. “This is my husband, Jericho. Babe, this is Jaqueline Hartley. She and Addison were close friends in college.”

“Lemme help you out.” Jericho took the oversized box from her.

“Your home is beautiful.”

“Thank you,” Liv said. “Addison’s excited to see you. I can take you to her.”

“That’s okay. I want to surprise her.”
