Jax: Already got things in motion.
Jax: The team looking into Chloe’s stalker has a whole team. I’ve got the nerd squad on it.
Reid: Bet they love being called that.
Jax: Like I’d say it to their faces.
Reid: It’s cute that you think they aren’t monitoring our conversation right now.
Jax: Shit! You’re right.
Jax: Leave this with me. I’ll get to the bottom of it.
Dominic sits back a little more relaxed now he knows I’m on this. This affects him just as much as Jenna and I.
“Is this going to be that much of a problem? I don’t understand the industry like you and Jenna do. I’ve lived and worked here my whole adult life since college, but not in the entertainment world.”
“It shouldn’t be, but it could be a big problem. They’re a company that has only done family-friendly content. They joined the big leagues last year when they bought this new comic book franchise.”
“Jenna was telling me last night one of their actors has a huge drug problem. How come they don’t have a problem with that?”
“Because that’s something they can send him to rehab for. People can wrap their heads around that and understand that. People have a hard time understanding why two guys could not be with the same woman. They’re probably going to dig into you too.”
“They can look all they want. I have nothing to hide. Reid, how locked down is the shit you told us about at the beach house that first night?”
“Like it’s in a lead coffin. If my family even breathes my name, my team of lawyers has the go-ahead to go lethal force if necessary.”
“Good!” With that one word, I know Dominic and I are going to be friends for life. We might not always agree on everything, but I know he has my back. I was right to trust him with my secrets. “We need a game plan.”
“I have an idea, but I don’t know if you’ll be up for it, and I don’t know if we keep Jenna in the loop about it or not.”
Now Dominic has me really intrigued.

LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO: TAYLOR SWIFT
Ihave no proof, but stuff like this didn’t happen in this office before she came along. Thanks to the Google alert I put on my phone, my phone blew up when the news hit. I know the guys have tried to contact me, but at the moment, I need to work on keeping all of this off Adrien’s desk.
Alexandria walks over to my desk, a coffee cup in hand, and places it on the side of my desk. “How are you dealing with all this?”
Is she shitting me right now? She thinks I’m going to gossip with her. “I’m sure Sara has plenty of stuff she needs you to work on and not stand around here gossiping with me.”
“Jenna, what’s your problem?” She sits down in front of me, and I’m at a loss for words.
Adrien’s door opens behind me, and Alexandria starts going all doe-eyed at the guy. Ugh, maybe I should just let her dig her own grave. “Jenna, can you come in here?”
He knows, he must. He’s got that thoughtful look on his face. There are exactly four, maybe five people I can’t bring myself to disappoint. Most of them work in this building. That number almost doubled in the last year. I put my computer screen into sleep mode so that only my password would open up my screen again.
Alexandria makes no move to leave the seat in front of my desk.
“I’m sure Sara needs you back at your desk,” I say loud enough that Adrien definitely heard me, but hopefully Sara would too.
I close the door behind me and take a deep breath as I approach. It’s very rare that I see Adrien like this, at least directed at me.
“Why didn’t you come and tell me?” He looks, I want to say, upset, but it’s more disappointing than anything. “I could have started making calls.”
