“Why else would you be here?”
“I wanted to talk.”
Levi raised a pierced eyebrow. “You want to talk? Wow. Go away, Diego,” he said, grabbing the door to close it.
Diego slammed his palm into it to keep it open. “I want to make a deal.”
“No way, I’m not doing that with you.”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t trust you.”
Diego couldn’t blame him. But if he didn’t get on Levi’s good side, then he’d have to keep putting up with the brat while he was in the mansion. He wanted to win Levi over to make it easier on himself, and he wanted to drive Wolf’s Lamborghini.
“Your dad took your phone, right?”
Levi was quiet for a moment as he watched Diego before he nodded.
Diego had to be on Levi’s side for him to actually make up with him. “Then let’s make a deal. I’ll give your phone back to you. But if I do that, then you have to stop messing with me.”
Levi hesitated before he asked, “Is this a trick?”
“I’m serious.”
“But I’m grounded.”
“So?”
“I’ll get in more trouble if you do that.”
“No, you won’t.”
“You don’t know my dad. He’ll ground me for longer. Wouldn’t be the first time he did that either.”
Diego chuckled. “Trust me, I won’t let him.”
A small smirk pulled up on Levi’s lips. “Okay … if you get my phone back, then I’ll leave you alone. Deal?”
There was something about the boy that reminded Diego of himself. Levi wasn’t so bad after all.
Diego smiled as he watched him. “Deal.”
Since Wolf was at work outside of the mansion, it was easy for Diego to sneak into the office and find Levi’s phone and return it to him.

“Giveme the keys to the Lamborghini,” Diego said, his palm open and his leg flung over the armrest of the sofa.
Dressed in a black three-piece suit, Wolf walked into the living room and sat in the seat opposite Diego. He had returned from a day of work in the city and was curious about what Diego had done while he was gone. “Did you speak with Levi?”
“Yeah.”
“So how did it go?”
“We’re good now.”
“Is that so?”
