Jonah runs to Gabriel, throws his arms around him.

JONAH

She’s turned. She doesn’t believe in you and wants me to doubt you too.

Holly locks eyes with Gabriel, hers plead with him.

HOLLY

Prove it. Show us you’re divine. Then I’ll believe in you.

Gabriel shakes his head.

JONAH

Ibelieve in you.

GABRIEL

Don’t. Believe inyou.

HOLLY

Who is Elemiah waiting for?

GABRIEL

A man will arrive and leave a case. He’ll take the Baby and that’s it.

ELEMIAH (O.S.)

(shouts) Here!

Elemiah jogs back to the others. Gabriel grabs Jonah and Holly, Michael tears the Baby out of Holly’s arms. She SCREAMS. As Gabriel, Elemiah, Holly and Jonah retreat, Michael and the Baby sink into shadow on the opposite side. Gabriel keeps his hand over Holly’s mouth.

SILENCE FALLS. An overhead clip-light shines down on the centre of the painted circle. It’s an eerie, satanic scene. FOOTSTEPS as a MAN in a dark suit paces his way into the warehouse. He carries a large SUITCASE. A momentary hesitation as he sees the painted symbols. Gingerly, he follows them to the pool of light …

MICHAEL (O.S.)

Stop.

The Man stops dead in the centre of the circle.
