Michael hesitates, no answer. He can’t think as quickly as Gabriel. Jonah glances around.

JONAH

(to Michael)

WhereisThe Assembly? Here?

MICHAEL

Downstairs. Come.

Michael stalks away towards the fire escape. Jonah throws a glowering look at Holly, then follows. Holly eyes the Moses basket, her BAGS of baby things … but leaves them, keeps the Baby in her arms as she follows at a safe distance, her senses alert for any sign of Ashleigh.

INT. THE ASSEMBLY – NIGHT

This is the BASEMENT floor of the derelict warehouse. Eerie CANDELIGHT illuminates the scene. A DOOR is propped open to reveal a pedestrian entrance/exit. Elemiah, hood up, face obscured, keeps watch. His eyes scour the outside world. From the door, a route to the centre of the floor is painted with STRANGE MARKS in blue SPRAY PAINT. It ends in a CIRCLE of SYMBOLS. Fresh paint glistens. Holly and Jonah are captivated. Gabriel puts his arms around them both. Holly freezes.

JONAH

What does it mean?

GABRIEL

That’s us. Gabriel, Michael, Elemiah. So the dark forces know who they’re dealing with.

JONAH

Where are the other angels?

MICHAEL

What other angels?

Michael paces the floor, his eyes flick from Gabriel to his watch and back again. He paces away, as …

JONAH

All of us. The angels here on earth who’ll make up The Assembly.

HOLLY

You said we’d all gather to destroy the Antichrist. Angels assemble at the alignment to arrest for ever the forces of darkness. You said that was prophesied.

Holly and Jonah look to Gabriel. Michael mutters.

MICHAEL

Tell them.
