“Our omega wants something to remember,” Koda adds, coming closer. I can feel his looming presence a little differently to the others. I’m not sure why, but I do.
“Any special requests?” I ask, smirking up at Reno, who’s cupping my face, lots of sweetness in his eyes.
“Okay,” Ashton starts, and I swing around to watch as he climbs out from under me, his mouth all wet and glossy. “I have an idea.”
For some reason, everyone groans, and I flick my eyebrows up. “What did you do?”
“I got inventive. Only one omega, who was a fucking cock monster by the way.” He waggles his eyebrows suggestively, making me laugh.
“Did you vote on your favourite combination or position?” I tease.
“We all did, actually, thank you very much. But excuse me, I am trying to suggest something besides us fucking.” Ashton tuts.
“And it still involves biting?”
“Do you want to know how many times we have heard you beg for a bite over the past few days?” Reno asks.
I roll my eyes. “And it should be noted that three of us had the discipline to wait,” Henley adds, the smile from his lips disappearing, but he can’t hide it that quickly from his eyes.
I immediately look to Koda and realise why I feel him so completely. “Where did you bite me, Koda?” I’ve barely finished asking when I look down at my left hand, my finger pulsing like it’s one perfectly fucking happy little digit.
He winks, “Goes under where my wedding band will sit, makes sense,” before he turns around and points to a bite on the back of his neck.
“Oh my god, are you serious? I did that. Koda, I am so sorry.”
“What are you sorry for, there was no way I was stopping you claiming me as yours. Your next bite goes here though,” he points to the very place I was drooling on earlier, right over his heart.
“All jokes aside, Bailey needs to think where her bite or bites go,” Reno interrupts, being serious, “because you need to be mindful about being in front of the camera. Pack bites scar.”
“Which is the point, so everyone fucking knows. Bailey’s done enough hiding, so when she’s ready she gets bit properly,” Henley says, more bite than before in his bark.
“Not arguing, Henley. But you will not ruin her career because of your claim on her body. I’m not saying don’t fucking bite her, Jesus, we are all biting her, I am saying think about where it goes,” Reno snaps.
“Baby, have we been arguing like this, the whole time? Or are you super tired and grumpy.”
Reno looks guilty for a millisecond before smirking, “You have no idea how much sex we had.”
I laugh. Actually, I cackle like a witch before licking Reno like a popsicle as I make my way up his body. But before I can, Ashton stops me with a wicked slap on my ass.
“What the fuck, Ash!” I spin around, ready to give him a mouthful, but instead he flicks those eyebrows up at me, and I melt, well drip might be a better description.
“No sex until you eat and drink.”
My eyes dart from his to the others to make sure they heard, but they’re all shrugging at me, not arguing against his comment.
“Really? A no sex ban until I eat? You… you, that’s brutal!” I scream like a deranged lunatic.
“Correct, we are. And I have another request, or stipulation, depends which way you listen. I want us to get washed up and dressed before we take you to dinner at the swanky restaurant here. And then we come back and spoil you for hours.”
“Outside of the nest?” I stammer instantly, losing a lot of my aggression, though my hands drop to my hips, making it come out like a sassy toddler. Even before any of them answer, I throw my hands up in defeat. “These fucking emotions are killing me!”
“It really is a sign that your body is accepting your true claim. And your responses and reactions are amplified because in a sense your body is restarting itself after… how we had to start your heat when we arrived here.” He drops his eyes, lots of guilt that is not his to hold flash in them before he takes a big breath and looks at me again, this time he’s back to being my happy guy.
“Yeah, Henley and Koda both showed me what it means. Thank you for looking after me, Reno. I know you did if that makes sense.”
“Makes lots of sense. You stumble, we’ll always catch you. Promise, hand on heart,” he says softly, like a pledge, because it is.
And that declaration makes four. Fuck you, ghosts of yesterday, I have new shackles tying me together. Instead of tears, the smile that blazes over my face hurts my cheeks. Hen, Koda and Reno catch it, but Ashton is talking a mile a minute again.
