“Do you want me to send you the video after I’m done fucking her?”

I gasp, “Nash if you ever truly loved her, don’t do that to her. She just had surgery, she can’t.”

He cackles, “Oh, she can, and she will. I already knew anyway; Jessica has a bigger mouth than you know.”

“Nash, please.”

“The time for begging is over. You should have thought about the consequences before you stole her from me. Before you fucked her. Before you cut off my fucking money.”

Tears fall down my face when he speaks to Mercy, “Say goodbye, bitch. You won’t see him again, tell him it’s over, you're mine now.”

She sobs, and I hear him hit her.

“Goodbye Liam, I love you. I’m his now.”

The line goes dead, and so do I.

I call Cyrus, “I haven’t scheduled it yet.”

“Cy, Nash kidnapped Mercy. I’m in an interrogation room. You have to get me out of here. I have to find her. I can’t do that from jail.”

“Jesus, Liam. Say nothing. I’m on my way.”

A female detective comes in and sits in front of me. The sound of the metal scraping against the floor echoes in the mostly empty room.

“Where is she?”

I shake my head, “I don’t fucking have her. I wish I did. I need your help; my son took her.”

“Is she alive?”

“Yes.”

“Tell us where she is, and I can talk to the prosecutor and try to go easy on you.”

“I don’t know where she is. I just told you who has her.”

Cyrus walks in with a cop beside him.

“Have you charged my client?”

“Not yet,” the detective answers with a scowl.

“Then he’s leaving.”

“Let’s go, Liam,” Cyrus says coolly.

I get up, and we walk out of the police station.

As we get into his car, he asks, “What the fuck is going on with Nash?”

I shake my head, “Long story short, she’s been his best friend since they were kids, he recently decided he was in love with her, he’s on drugs and hates me for cutting off his financial supply.”

He gets into the driver's seat, “Jesus, Liam. You don’t really think he’d hurt her?”

I nod, “Yeah, I do.”

After telling him about him assaulting her, and the phone call, he says, “Fuck.”
