“Oh, fuck. I’m almost there.”
A soft growl left his lips as he stared down at his little minx as she stopped once more. His body was right on the edge, and his hands trembled as he forced himself not to finish the job.
With a tantalizingly slow pace, she stood and used her tongue to draw a line across his abs and up to his chest until she could suck one of his nipples into her mouth.
‘Fuck’ was the only coherent word that tumbled from his mouth over and over as she switched to the other side and gave it the same treatment.
Splaying her hand across his stomach, Ashley ducked under his arm, and like a fucking dog in heat, he turned to follow her. Every sensible and intelligent thought stormed out the door as she bent over in front of him. Ashley’s perfectly-shaped apple ass rose in the air toward him, her pussy exposed as she offered herself.
She looked over her shoulder at him, a teasing glint in her eyes. “What are you waiting for?”
The fraying thread to his sanity was severed with those five simple words. He stepped forward, his fingers digging into the soft skin of her hips as he slammed himself home. There was no waiting or adjusting. The animalistic part of his personality shoved the rational part of his brain out the door, slamming it in its wake.
He was mildly aware that Ashley had thrown out her hand to keep from crashing into the wall while his hips worked into her with a ferocity that he hadn’t known he had in him. Her walls tightened around him like she was trying to choke him as she came. With a yell, she coated him. That was the final straw, and with a howl that came from the depths of his soul, he came harder than he ever had in his life. The streams seemed never-ending as he drove his cock into her over and over.
He looked to the ceiling with a silent holler as the final jet left his body.
Kes stumbled back, his legs no longer viable, and with a loud thump, he landed ass-first on the tile, taking Ashley down with him. Giving up, he laid his head back to catch his breath. Every limb was weak and useless.
Ashley laughed as she slowly flipped herself over and lay on his chest, peppering his chest with gentle kisses.
“I didn’t think it was possible to love someone this much,” Ashley whispered as the water fell like a rainstorm down on top of them. “It scares me, Kes, the thought of losing you.”
Lifting his head, he stared at the top of hers until she looked up at him. “You’re never going to lose me. Not ever again.”
“Really?”
“Yes, really.”
“So you’ll never be hurt or die when you go out on a mission?”
“What?” he asked, swallowing the lump in his throat.
Ashley shrugged. “Zumi mentioned to me that you were not being truthful about what you do, so I did some investigating of my own at dinner last night.” His eyes went wide as his racing heart thumped harder in his chest. “I’m guessing by the look on your face you were not planning on telling me what it is you really do?”
He swallowed again, his mind blank as he panicked to think of something to say. “I…I…did, but….”
“That’s a no. So, here’s the deal, Kes. From now on, you’re honest with me, or we’re going to have a big problem.”
“I’ll assume Renee told you?” he asked, his mind still on ‘damage control’ mode.
“She did. She was reluctant, said it wasn’t her place to say. But when I pressed and told her about our history, she began to share. I want the whole truth from you, though, Kes. I deserve that.”
He nodded. “Alright, but does this mean you’re not going to run away screaming? The only reason I wasn’t fully honest was because I was scared of your reaction.”
Ashley made a strange little sound with her mouth that reminded him of a horse nickering as she pushed herself up off his body and proceeded to hold out her hand to help him stand. “I’m cooler than you think I am.”
He wasn’t sure what being cool had to do with it, but at that point, he wasn’t going to argue or question. “Come on. Let’s get you cleaned up and this appointment out of the way, and then I’ll answer all your questions.”
“Deal,” Ashley said as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
“You really need to stop pressing up against me when you’re all naked and wet. I have a one-track mind where you’re concerned, and I will take you again.”
A wicked grin spread across her face. “Maybe I want you to.”
Oh, hell yeah.
From the second they’d walked into the medical building, Kes had been on edge. He had been to the vending machine twice and paced the waiting area reading the placards under all the artwork, and now that she’d been called into the doctor’s office, his knee hadn’t stopped bouncing.
