Shame made heat go down to my chest as the thought that needed to stay deep within my mind spilled out. “I want you to make the pain stop.”

Even if it made me fall apart later.

Even though it was wrong to willingly intertwine myself with something that could destroy everyone. I just didn’t have it in me to think about everyone. For once, I was thinking about myself.

Shadows wrapped around me like satin sheets, entrancing me in the smooth movements. I didn’t even realize I was naked until the cool air touched me and something hard rubbed across my clit.

Tendrils of shadow wrapped around my thighs, locking me in place. Panic welled in my chest. I grabbed at them, but only touched my own skin.

“Don’t.”

“It’s okay,” he whispered with enough emotion that one could almost think it was true.

But not me, I knew better.

As if he felt my doubt, whatever rubbed my clit picked up in intensity, until shocks of pleasure demanded my attention. Which was better than being focused on the incoming explosion we would be.

I gladly welcomed the distraction, throwing my head back and moaning.

“Liar.” So he knew, that I knew, he was full of shit, but my voice was a needy moan, rather than the spat insult I intended it to be.

Tendrils of shadows ran over every inch of me, little sprigs of tendrils extending from each one, feeling like more fingers. Every sensation made my thighs tremble.

One of those tendrils wrapped around my throat. I gasped in shock and the shadows took that as a chance to fill my mouth before I could protest.

I tried to voice my opinion, but it came out a strained gurgle around the shadows slithering down my throat.

My eyes went wide as I swore they went further down inside me than anything had a right to. It felt like he was all the way in my chest. He was going to break me.

You're already broken.

“My strong Dandelion.” He groaned with need that made every nerve quiver with anticipation. “I’m going to fuck you until you never think about leaving me again.”

My arms were bound behind me by more tendrils of shadow, pressing my chest forward into more wandering tendrils.

His overwhelming energy numbed the sharp pain radiating in my chest.

That terrified me more than anything he could do to my body.

Fingers intertwined with mine as if he was holding my hand, while he put me in a position I never would have let a man alive do. As if he was soothing the storm brewing inside me.

Another tendril slinked lower, filling me too full. A steady reminder that he was a monster that was meant to destroy me.

I moaned around the shadow inside my mouth, making him groan in a way that made my entire body clench. I couldn’t touch him, but at least I could still affect him. That evened out the playing field, if only a little.

He was corroding me. Every time I let him move closer, he became harder to push away. The defenses I spent countless years building, crumbled under his power.

And I was letting him.

Another tendril gently prodded against my ass, sliding in without waiting for even the hint of permission.

I was too full. There wasn’t any room for me anymore. He occupied all the space inside me, but I was helpless to fight against him.

And if I were being honest with myself, I didn’t want to.

It was time to face facts.

He’d already ruined me.
