I slide off his lap and take his hand, loving the way his eyes darken as he looks up at me from the couch. I tug a little, wanting to get him to my bedroom. Wanting to get him on my bed where I can take my time exploring every part of him. He finally gets the message and stands, following behind me as I walk from the living room. I can hear his heavy breathing and it’s such a thrill to know he’s just as affected by this.

It’s crazy how natural it feels when we fall to the bed together, our arms immediately wrapping around each other. You would think this would be the time I’m the most awkward, but it doesn’t feel that way at all. I feel every bit as confident and in control as I do on a movie set.

But this is no movie. This is real life, me and Fox. And it’s so good I almost can’t handle it.

There’s only one moment where I get scared. It’s not when Fox runs his lips over my breasts. It’s not when I wrap my hand around the hot length of him. I don’t get scared until Fox moves to fumbled in his discarded jeans for a condom. The enormity of what we’re doing slams into me and without Fox’s touch, my breath catches.

“You okay?” he asks immediately, stretching over me and cupping my face in his big strong hand.

I nod. “Just…it’s been a while for me.”

His expression softens. “I’ve got you, June. Just like before. All you have to do is trust me.”

I’m pretty sure I would trust him with my life. So I keep my eyes locked on his as his fingers move between my legs. Even when I’m whimpering and crying out because it feels so good I keep my gaze locked on his blue eyes, so dark with desire now they’re almost navy.

And when Fox finally slides inside me, I’m so glad I kept my eyes open. He’s looking at me like he isn’t sure if this is real. That’s the way I always look at him, I think. It’s a little trippy, to see my own wanting reflected back at me. But then Fox starts to move and every thought is replaced with shock over how good this is.

“So perfect, June,” he groans into my neck. “How do you feel so good?”

I want to tell him that it’sus. I want to tell him that it will always be like this between us. I want to beg him to never leave, so we can experience these feelings over and over again.

But all I can do is gasp as he moves in just the perfect way to get meright there. This is the kind of moment I never really thought I would get to experience. So big and colorful and overwhelming and just a little bit scary. But mostly good. So very good.

“Look at me,” I gasp right before I tumble over the edge. “Please, Fox.”

I’m trapped in his ocean blue gaze for a moment that seems to stretch out endlessly. Then the world flashes around me, bright white and hot, and I can’t think anymore. Scattered words dart through my brain. Words likegood, andI can’t believe itandFox. Fox.

And somewhere in the tumult of sensation I hear his voice louder than all the words in my head.

“You’re everything, June.Everything.”
