“Was that okay?” he murmured, the sound a low gravely rumble that sent goose bumps dancing over myskin.
“Pretty sure I’m the one who kissed you,” I murmured back, and he laughed, the sound washing over my lips as I brought them back to his mouth for one lasttaste.
“The Harvest Fest tomorrow?” he whispered when the kissbroke.
“Yeah. You need help loadingup?”
He grinned. “I’m not going to say no to an extra set ofhands.”
“So I’ll be at your shop atfive?”
He held my gaze for a long moment. “It’s a date,” he finally murmured, then released my waist, taking a step back and thenanother.
I expected to feel cold when he let go of me, when I lost that wonderful source of his body heat, but I didn’t. Somehow the memory of that kiss kept me warm all the way up the stairs to myplace.
And it still hadn’t faded by the time I curled up in my bed to dream about dark eyes and insistentlips.
