When you bet against the devil, eventually you pay the price.
I just never expected my price to be a pretty little redhead with a quick temper.
When I’m tasked with keeping an eye on Harlow Spencer, she swears she can take care of herself.
Her eyes tell me that she’s been doing it for too long already.
She needs my protection, even if she won’t admit it.
Especially with a cowboy from my past hounding her.
I just need her.
And I’m not going anywhere until she realizes just how much she needs me, too.
