“Shit.” Sebastian’s fingers went so tight Wesley was absolutely going to have bruises on his shoulders. “Wes—come on,please—I can’t hold on to my magic.”

Wesley’s hips jerked, and Sebastian swore again.

“Christ, you are not allowed to talk, you’ll have me shooting off like a rifle.” Wesley’s voice was as wrecked as Sebastian’s. “No more words from you. Just lie there and look pretty, it’s already too much to resist.”

Sebastian half-laughed, half-groaned. “I can’t—”

And suddenly Wesley’s limbs turned to water, as his aura gave way under the flood of Sebastian’s magic. He made a startled grunt as he fell full onto Sebastian, but Sebastian was already pushing him over.

“Christ,” Wesley said again, as his back hit the mattress.

“Need you,” Sebastian said hoarsely, climbing on top, possibly the sexiest thing Wesley had ever seen or heard and he was going to ink this night onto his brain like his own tattoo. “Are you—okay?”

“Are you seriously asking? I amso much betterthanokay. Get the fuck back on me.”

Sebastian straddled his hips, and Wesley made an inhuman noise as their bodies fit back together. Their lips found each other’s again, Wesley absolutely floating on the swirling mix of tingling limbs from Sebastian’s magic mixed with the tight heat of his body—so perfect that it only took a few movements before Wesley was helplessly falling over the edge. Sebastian’s head dropped to Wesley’s chest, his face against Wesley’s heart, and Wesley heard him falling too, soft sounds muffled against Wesley’s skin.

They stayed like that for a long moment, Sebastian’s forehead on Wesley’s chest, Wesley drinking the closeness in as the loveliest of aftershocks coursed through his limbs.

Finally, Sebastian raised his eyes, looking very sheepish.

“Who’s shameless now?” Wesley said, the words a little slurred with effort.

Sebastian dropped his head back to Wesley’s chest with a self-conscious laugh. “You look like you were mauled by an affectionate bear,” he said, still sounding very sheepish, and pressed a kiss over Wesley’s heart before he rolled off. Wesley was pushed over onto his side as Sebastian spooned up behind him with an arm slung around his ribs andwait just one fucking moment.

“Sebastian.”

Sebastian rested his head against Wesley’s shoulder with a happy sigh.

“Sebastian.” Wesley forced his mouth to move. “Have you forgotten something?”

Sebastian hid his face against Wesley’s back. “Um—”

“I can’t move my bloody limbs! Your magic is still on strong enough the people in the next room might be on the floor.”

“Iknow,” Sebastian said, into his back. “But I need a minute.”

Wesley barked out a laugh, a real one, with an almost rusty edge. “I fucked you to the point you can’t rein your magic in?”

Sebastian groaned. “It’s the brooch’s fault. Don’t be smug.”

“I am going to be smugforever.” Wesley still couldn’t move, but it was fucking worth it. “What am I going to do with you?”

“Well, what I’d really like for you to do with me is cuddle. Er, when you can move again.”

“Sebastian.”

“It’s okay, I know you don’t cuddle.” The blankets were being pulled up over them. “But since you can’t move, you can just lie there and let me hug you.”

“You—”

“Shhh. My magic will ease fastest if I go to sleep.”

“Oh it will, will it?” Wesley said. “How dashed convenient. And how do I know if you’re serious or you’re just fucking with me for vengeance?”

“I like to keep a little mystery alive between us,” Sebastian murmured, which made Wesley laugh again. “Soy tan suertudo de tenerte, Wes, so lucky to have you. You make everything so good.”

There was no way Wesley deserved those murmured words, but Sebastian was settling in closer against him, his voice soft and content and maybe even happy. Every inch of Wesley felt good, limbs tingling from the magic and the afterglow and the lovely sensation of skin pressed to skin, and he couldn’t move anyway, so maybe for once Wesley could just—let himself enjoy the moment.
