Except everything has changed

and I’m not the same person

I was back then

today.

Yet

I still am me, going backwards in time as it flies by me and I see nothing but memories from tomorrow that turn into

yesterday.

Was it a lifetime ago?

Like these memories don’t belong to my mind

but only to the memories of the mind oftime itself.

It seemed like ages ago

and yet

it is now.

Now is the time to begin.

To begin

is the end of what once was

and the end of what is

is to begin what is to come.

To come together as one

separate and alone,

but together alone with myself

standing in front of a mirror

in an elevator

taking a picture

of myself yesterday

to archive myself tomorrow.

For tomorrow

is not guaranteed.

Aguaranteeis a promise left to time.

They say only time will tell.
