Chapter Six
Jasper carried me into my room, shutting the door behind him with his heel. I could barely choke out a gasp as he tilted me in his arms, turning and landing me up against the cool plaster of the wall.
He shifted, aligning our bodies so that his cock pressed against my center. My panties were a soaking wet ruin, offering no resistance at all to the sensation of his hardness pressing against me.
“This is the part where you hurry up and fuck me.” Digging my nails into the rigid muscles of his shoulders, I savored his hiss at the bite of pain. I was still reeling from how easily he’d made me come apart when nothing had ever worked like that before.
“Haven’t you figured it out yet, Cari?” Wrapping those thick fingers around each of my wrists, he pressed his cock against my softness once, then again, a pale imitation of what I’d just asked him to do.
“Figured out what, you bastard?” I panted, my hands scrabbling for purchase when all they wanted to do was go limp.
“Figured out that you don’t have to fight what you really want.” Dipping his head, he nipped at my ear. “I think I’ve already proven that things turn out pretty well for you when you put yourself in my hands.”
“Asshole.” I hissed the word, my independent streak indignant at his cockiness. The rest of me, though, simply pressed itself even more tightly against him, begging for another release.
Before I could suck in another breath, he’d pulled away from the wall, my ass still clutched in his hands. I couldn’t hold back the cry of disappointment when he set me on my feet in the middle of the room then backed away.
“If you want to explore this, then that’s part of the package.” His tone offered no apology. “I’m on top, baby. Unless I decide that you should be.”
“Is that part of the…the watching thing?” Curiosity overcame me. “Any other kinks I should be aware of?”
To my complete surprise, he barked out a laugh. “I’ve got lots of kinks, Cari, but I’m not going to lay them out one by one. You’re either interested or not. Turned on or not. It’s that simple.”
“Tell me one more,” I begged. If he’d swiped his fingers between my legs just then, he wouldn’t have had to wonder if I was turned on our not. The evidence would gleam on his fingers. “Just one.”
He studied me for what felt like a long time, the pale green of his eyes gleaming beneath the dark spikes of his lashes. When he spoke, it sounded like he might have been mocking me, if it weren’t for the need I saw there, too.
“I like to be in control. I like to watch. And I like to share.”
Holy shit.
“Like…you want to watch me with someone else?” The notion provided a quick, hot visual of limbs tangled together, skin sliding over skin. “Like…all the way with someone else?”
“Yes.” He tilted his head.
“Why?” I was genuinely puzzled. “I don’t understand.”
“Everything that I do is done for a woman’s pleasure.” His voice was like black silk. “So yes, if being with another man would bring you pleasure, I would find that incredibly arousing.”
“What if it wasn’t a man?” I shot back, as always, needing to test the limit. He simply chuckled.
“A man. A woman.” He smirked. “One of each. Any scenario that pleases you.”
“I…I don’t know what to say about that.” I’d never been kinky. I’d had sex, but it had all been vanilla.
Boring.
But wasn’t kink something you were supposed to think about before diving in? Something to weigh the pros and cons of? Shouldn’t I consider how I would feel in the morning?”
I didn’t want to. The recklessness probably came because I needed to forget the very real trickle of fear that had led to Jasper being in my life at all. Right then, though? I didn’t care. I wanted to take what I wanted. What he had to give.
But… “Aren’t you supposed to be guarding my body?” The words were hoarse with need. I’d never wanted anything, anyone, so badly.
“I assure you, your body is the most important thing in the world to me right now.” He laughed again, the sound a warning. “And no one is going to get to you while you’re under me.”
“Yes.” He blinked. I thought he was expecting at least a token resistance, but I’d made up my mind. “This. I want it.”
He stayed silent for a moment, watching me with a gleam in his eyes that should have had me worried.
