“You seem to do that a lot when you feel or know I’m watching you,” he says with a small smile.

“Do what?” I ask.

“Chew on your bottom lip,” he says in a low tone, his eyes dropping to my mouth. I press my lips together, but they curl up into a smile when his grin widens. “You know you're very cute.” I stand from my chair and grab the plates off the table to put them in the sink. "And you have an ass that looks amazing in those denim shorts.”

I turn around and lean back against the counter, looking over at him. I don’t know what to say, so I just stand there, wondering how long I have to wait for him to make a move. Those lips are so fucking kissable. They're thick, and I can only image how’d they’d feel running over my body. I lift my cup and look at him over the rim as I sip more of my tea.

Trey leans forward in his chair a little. "I'm about ninety-five percent sure what you're thinking, but I want to be certain."

I raise a brow and my lips twitch with a smirk. ”If it's only ninety-five percent”—Trey gets off the chair and starts walking over to me”—I mustn’t be looking at you the right way.”

He stands in front of me, then takes the cup out of my hand.

I’ve kissed a few men, but never a man this much taller than me so I’m hoping I can do this.

Trey’s hands grip my hips. I lift my eyes to meet his, but I stop at his lips, waiting for them to touch me, waiting for them to take me into his world.

Lifting me up, he sits me on the counter, my legs open for him to stand between them. “Just so you know, the moment I kiss you, it makes you my girl, shorty. Don’t think you can keep playing this cat and mouse game." Trey's right hand moves up my body, his thumb caressing my jaw as he moves to the back of my neck. His fingers wrap around my hair as I place my hand on his chest. I can feel his heart beating, getting faster as he moves closer to me. The closer he gets to my lips, I can feel his breath, the warmth hitting my lips.

I close my eyes as he softly presses his mouth to mine, and lift my hands to the back of his neck as he pulls me deeper into his lips. His tongue teases my lips, asking my permission to enter. I open up for him, and the moment his tongue enters, I feel a bolt run down my spine. Trey's hand moves gently down my back, making me moan against his lips and the vibration runs through me. Both of his hands grip my hips firmly as I kiss him back. It’s a good job I was sitting because my shaking legs wouldn’t hold me up.

I pull away from him to get some air, then lick my lips to get the taste of him once more before I look up at him.

"Shorty, your phone’s lighting up." When Trey passes me my phone, I see Calvin has sent a few messages. Jumping off the counter, I walk over to the sitting room to call him, and Trey follows me. "Can I at least get another kiss before I lose you for a while to Calvin?”

Trey sits on the couch with me, and leans over and gives me another kiss. As he leans away, I look at him, wondering what's going to happen next. I don't know him, but that kiss… I'm not going to sleep with him today. Am I going to sleep with him today? If that kiss is anything to go by, I'm sure the sex will be mind-blowing. I shake the thought out of my head when I hear Trey laughing.

“What’re you laughing about?” I ask him.

“You. That was one hot kiss,” he replies. “I was thinking about other things we can do, and just looking at your sexy face, I can tell you're thinking the same.” He grips my legs, rests them over his, and starts running his hand over them. "I'm not trying to sleep with you. If all I wanted was sex, I would've tried a lot harder in the pool.”

My brows pinch together. “So, you don’t—”

He grins. "Shorty, I do. Oh, I do. But, I also like you a lot more than a one-time sex thing. So, how about you get back to your friend?” Trey takes the controller off the table and turns on the TV.

I stare at him for a while. It’s the first time I can gat a good look at him without anyone distracting me. His cheeks are hollowed out just enough to accentuate his high and prominent cheekbones. The few days’ growth of scruff along his jaw is sexy as hell and one of my weaknesses. The more I study him, noting the gentle slope in the bridge of his nose, my eyes land on a tiny scar just above his eyebrow.

I see you staring, shorty. If you’re now thinking I’m not pretty enough for you, then you should’ve thought about that before kissing me.” Trey says, and I see the corner of his lips curl up in a smile. He chuckles. “I told you, the moment I kiss you, you’re my girl, and I really don't want twenty minutes to be the shortest relationship I’ve had." He starts laughing, and I can't stop the tugging at my lips.

“What is the shortest relationship you’ve had?” I ask.

"Two days. I'm not looking for someone that just wants five minutes of fame, so I learned from that," Trey replies, his eyes focusing on the TV.

Nodding my head, I look through the messages that Calvin has sent me. I hit the call button.

"About time you got back to me, have you read your messages?" Calvin shouts, and I laugh at him.

“Yes, I've read them. I didn't need to read the details of your sex life from last night, but thanks for that. So, what’s happening with Finn?" I ask. I know that he was gutted that they broke up.

“Is Trey there?”

“Yes, wh—”

"Put the phone on speaker," Calvin tells me. I hit the speaker button and his voice comes through again. “I know you’re rolling your eyes at me.”

“I am,” I tell him, and Trey looks over at me.

“See, Trey. If you want to run, I'd do it now—she can be mean,” Calvin says.
