Playing nice with your famous ex for the press is hard enough. Resisting the only woman who ever broke your heart? Absolutely impossible.
Molly Sullivan has a problem. Her sitcom just got cancelled, leaving her unemployed, pigeonholed, and terrified of becoming a forgotten punchline. She needs a serious profile bump to get the dramatic role she wants—because if she can’t prove she’s more than a gag reel, her career is dead in the water.
Ashley Malone is pop royalty—or at least she was, until a career-wrecking scandal tanked her upcoming world tour. With ticket sales plummeting and the press circling, she needs a massive distraction.
Enter the ultimate PR stunt: convince the world that London’s most infamous exes are giving love a second chance.
The plan is simple. A few intimate dinners in Soho. Hand-in-hand red carpets in Leicester Square. A fake reunion playing out under the glare of the paparazzi.
Except nothing has ever been simple between Molly and Ashley. Not when they were young and broke, not when Ashley’s fame blew up and pulled them apart, and definitely not five years after a heartbreaking split neither of them ever got over.
Now, a staged romance in front of the cameras is stirring up everything they tried to bury.
And the heat only turns up when Molly is forced into close quarters with Ashley on her tour bus. Soon, the lines between public performance and private reality start to blur. Behind the flashbulbs are two fiercely guarded women stubborn enough to hold a grudge—and terrified of falling back into old feelings.
Late-night bus rides and shared hotel rooms turn fake smiles into real tension, and old sparks into a wildfire. Soon, they’re forced to face the truth: headlines fade, but first love always demands an encore.
A sapphic celebrity fake-relationship romantic comedy from internationally bestselling author Natasha West, The Ex Factor is funny, emotional, and irresistibly romantic.
