Waylaid by a Rogue

He’s forgotten everything except how to steal her heart.

Cornwall, 1817. When Mrs. Artemisia Longwood discovers a naked, unconscious man sprawled by the roadside, she knows exactly what a sensible, respectable widow ought to do—Leave him there in the bushes to sleep it off. Instead, she hauls him to the nearest inn…only to discover that there are no extra rooms to be had. No good deed goes unpunished—scandal or not, they’ll have to share.

Artemisia dubs him Henry and resolves to locate his family as quickly as possible. What should be simple task proves to be a challenge. Their search is plagued by curious locals, unhelpful clues, and Henry himself—who seems far more interested in flirting with his rescuer than figuring out his identity.
But as answers finally begin to surface, Artemisia must face an unsettling possibility: What happens when she finds out who Henry is…and rather wishes she hadn’t?
