Not My Problem

A grumpy CFO. A free spirit who’s looking for a fresh start. And a very inconvenient attraction between two women who couldn’t be more different.
It was supposed to be a simple favor for her neighbor. Then Zoe showed up…

When Gretchen Langley’s neighbor asks her to keep an eye on her house while she’s out of the country, she doesn’t expect to be chasing away intruders. But the gorgeous younger woman she catches breaking in isn’t a squatter. She’s the neighbor’s long-lost granddaughter.

Zoe Boynton is excited to finally reconnect with the grandmother she’s never known. Instead, she arrives to find an empty house and a fiery purple-haired stranger threatening to call the cops. Suddenly stranded, Gretchen reluctantly offers her a place to stay. It’s supposed to be temporary. A little help for a woman in a difficult situation. Nothing more.

But Zoe’s easygoing warmth gets under Gretchen’s skin, while Gretchen’s quiet kindness makes Zoe feel safer than she’s felt in a long time. Before either of them knows what happened, irritation turns into friendship, friendship turns into something neither woman can ignore, and their arrangement gets a lot more complicated.

Falling for each other is the easy part. Learning how to love without taking over, running away, or trying to fix each other is much harder.
