Each halfling in Sombra has their own gift. Mine has been my ability to wield the shadows that make up my father’s home world. Along with my soul-pet, Binx, and my best friend, Rafe, I can visit all of the neighboring realms.
Except for one.
Noctavara isn’t home to demons. The human realm has no contact with the warded world, either. It’s a gilded cage for the fae—and the plane where I’m meant to find my future.
But, first, I have to find Rafe.
Sold to a slaver in Noctavara, I’m determined to get him back any way I can… which would be a lot easier if I didn’t get caught by a fae bandit who has his own reasons to help me reach the Gilded Court.
And me? When I realize who he is, I have my own reasons to escape his golden gaze and blinding smile… but Thane Aurex is more persuasive than he should be, and now Binx and I have a new fae companion.
