Property of Mercury

Mercury

As the Montana chapter’s VP, the burden I carry is heavy, helping Gemini with the weight of rebuilding our chapter into something we can be proud of instead of the chaotic disaster the former president turned it into. But I’m also a tracker, renowned throughout the country for my abilities to search out information and take the pieces that I find and put them into a completed puzzle. So when Skippy is found on the side of the road fighting for her life, I head back out to the site to see what I can find. I never expect to locate another woman, one who is clinging to life by a thread. And when she tells me what she endured, I realize that we’ve stumbled onto something so horrific, so reprehensible, that it’s almost incomprehensible. Once my brothers know what I do, we vow to find those responsible and shut them down. I suspect it’s going to take some time, and because Finley is a certified mechanic, she’s going to be around for the foreseeable future as she helps Orion open up his shop.

I just hope my heart survives.

Finley

Being rescued by the Kings of Anarchy has thrown me into some sort of alternative universe. They took me to a different hospital and I have round-the-clock protection while I heal from the surgery I had to repair the damages from two gunshot wounds and an arrow through my chest. The fact that Mercury has been conspicuously absent is concerning, but it’s not like we had any real interaction the day he found me except for him cataloging my injuries then calling for help. Still, despite being in agony that day, there was something about him that calmed my soul. So, when Orion finds out my qualifications, I soon find myself with a new job at his shop. Not only that, but I’m now living at their clubhouse while they search for the people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to hunt another human being.

Once I get to know Mercury, I realize he is the missing piece to my life. The only thing I worry about is whether or not he feels the same. Because being his has become my number one goal; I just hope I achieve it.
