For the last several years, we’ve posed as tattoo artists during the day while cleaning up Atlanta’s streets at night. Through it all, I’ve never lost sight of the man who started me on this journey, the gang leader responsible for my brother’s death. I’ve kept him in my crosshairs, waiting for the right time to act. Until Elodie crosses his path—and mine in the process—and I realize the time to act is now. I won’t let a monster like him lay a finger the woman I’m falling for. Someone is stalking me. I feel eyes on me as I make my way home from work. It’s distracting, but not as unnerving as it should be. The feeling is nothing like the one I get from my stalker, or the enigmatic, sexy tattooist whose shop is across the road from the school where I teach kindergarten. Raiden is making me feel things I never have before, and I’m falling for him fast. But my unwanted suitor isn’t taking no for an answer. Raiden promises to keep me safe, but there’s so much about him I don’t know. He and his friends have secrets I can’t be a part of. I’m falling in love, but can only hope Raiden will be there to catch me when I land.
