Mason Jones had chosen his mountain and the solitude that came with it. His only ventures were to the bar for some fun and a drink, and to the town next door for some shopping. Otherwise, he kept to himself and wanted it that way.
He had been married before, loved her with everything he had. He wasn’t looking for another.
But the moment he came across an older, beautiful woman whose truck was stuck in the mud, he couldn’t help but feel a flutter somewhere in his chest.
He didn’t think love would strike him twice. Yet this ball of spitfire who had never been loved properly, was getting under his skin. With each passing day, living in solitude was sounding less and less appealing.
