Turning back and sitting up straight, I smiled with my glass to my lips. “You have no idea, little girl.”
No idea.
She giggled again, then turned toward Ben. “So, what do you do when you’re not cooking or working out?”
While they carried on their conversation, my eyes scanned the table, coming to rest on Landon, Luci, and Langston. They were seated the same way, with Luci between the two men. She was smiling and laughing at something Landon said, but her eyes widened and I noticed Langston’s arm was tucked beneath the table.
His gaze lifted slowly and he searched the other faces, probably feeling my eyes on him. He stopped hunting when his gaze landed on me. A devilish smirk followed.
Sneaky bastard.
If I had to guess, his fingers were buried in Luci’s pussy and he was instructing her to keep his lascivious ministrations from becoming public knowledge. Those three certainly liked to play and they didn’t have any qualms about doing it in public, either.
Which made me instantly think about our Monday meetings. I’d had a brief chance to talk to Landon earlier in the day and he agreed that the six of us should meet every Monday morning to discuss business, as we had previously.
I wondered if it would take an interesting turn having both Luci and Addison in the same room.
My dick was definitely excited about the prospect.

“You want to head over to the bar next door? We’re meeting to have a drink,” Bill McDonald said as I was in the process of rounding up Addison and Ben. I had lost track of them about half an hour after dinner when I got sidetracked by Kimberly Chambers, the advertising executive for my highest grossing client.
“Not tonight,” I politely declined.
“No worries.” Bill smiled, his eyes trailing through the room. When he looked back at me, he appeared guilty. “So, um…what’s the lowdown on the new secretary?”
Lowdown?
I held his gaze, waiting for him to elaborate.
Bill waved off his comment as though it was no big deal. “You know…is she…single?”
His eyes suddenly lit up and I turned to see who he was looking at. I guess I should’ve known. Addison had managed to draw quite a bit of attention tonight. Bill wasn’t the first person to ask about her, although he was the only one who appeared to have a personal interest.
Looking at her, I couldn’t necessarily blame him. Not only was she striking in that sheer red shirt and black skirt, but she was extremely approachable, offering a friendly smile whenever she caught someone looking her way.
Normally, I wouldn’t have thought twice about someone asking me that; however, Bill happened to work in the same building as we did, the company he worked for renting space on the third floor. Which meant he was far too close for comfort. If he thought for one second I would approve of him hitting on Addison, he’d better think again.
“Actually, no,” I told him firmly. “She’s not single.”
I didn’t give a shit that I was lying. Mostly. Technically, thanks to that contract the three of us had signed, she wasn’t on the market. However, that pertained more to the lifestyle than anything else. And we all knew that the contract was only good if all parties were willing participants.
“A pity that,” Bill said with a sly grin, and I assumed the humor in that statement was there to detract from his disappointment.
I turned back to Bill. “How’s Jill?” You know, your wife.
“She’s…” His eyes met mine and there was a flash of guilt there. “She’s great. She wanted to be here tonight, but Joel is sick.”
Joel was their four-year-old son.
“Anyway…” He nodded toward the door. “Thanks for the dinner. I enjoyed it.” He nodded to a group standing a few feet away. “I’ve actually set up a meeting for later in the week. Looks as though they’re looking to expand their toy line.”
“Glad you met some new people,” I stated, letting my eyes roam over his face so he could see my displeasure with our previous conversation.
I knew that some of the firm’s clients, even some of my own managers, questioned my morals and values due to the fact that I represented the sex industry. On top of knowing exactly what was necessary to market sex toys, I was also outwardly open about my involvement in BDSM. I didn’t have anything to hide.
Not that I shared details, but I didn’t keep my interests locked in a box, either. And for that reason, many people assumed I lacked scruples when it came to certain aspects of my life. As far as relationships went, I valued them. Loyalty was key in my world and even the thought of Bill stepping out on his wife made me want to punch the guy in the face.
I refrained.
“Good night, Bill,” I said, letting him hear my annoyance as I pivoted and headed in the opposite direction.
