“Any plans for the weekend?” Landon apparently was looking to lighten the mood.
“I’ve got some stuff to catch up on,” I admitted. “So, I’ll probably be here in the office.”
“You want us to come in? We haven’t worked a Saturday in a while. I can call Luci, get her to help out.”
That was the last thing I wanted. Not because I didn’t want to see Luci, because a little time with her would be just what the doctor ordered. However, I really did think she needed the break. She’d worked her little ass off this week. “No. I’m good. The quiet will help me to stay focused.”
“All right. But the same goes for you,” Landon said, staring at me. “If you need anything, just holler.”
I grinned. “I’m not sure I’ve ever hollered in my life.”
That made them both laugh and for the first time in the last two days, I felt myself relax somewhat.
Forty-Seven
I HATED BEING ON MY PERIOD.
It sucked.
Then again, I doubted there was a woman out there who got excited when her monthly cycle hit.
And now, here I was sitting with my four bosses at the Monday meeting while wearing a pair of slacks. I knew they all recognized what was going on and not a one of them had said anything.
Not about that, anyway.
“Okay, now that we’ve got a list of the points we want to change for the next quarterly meeting, I think you have something to go on,” Justin stated as I glanced down at my notes.
“I do,” I agreed, lifting my gaze and looking at him.
“Perfect.” He then glanced at the others. “If there’s nothing else, I’d like to spend a little time with Luci.”
“Very well,” Master stated as he got to his feet. “I’ll be out of the office this afternoon.”
He looked my way and I felt something stirring in my belly. It was as though he wanted to say something, but his mouth didn’t open.
Justin nodded, then glanced over at Ben. “Please stay.”
“Of course, Mr. Parker.”
Master and Landon left the room, closing the door behind them. I turned my attention to the two of them.
“I take it you’re on your period?” Justin asked point-blank.
Never in my life had I met a group of men who spoke their minds the way my bosses did. They had absolutely no shame.
I nodded. “Yes, sir. I am.”
He smiled. “Just wanted to ensure you weren’t breaking the rules.”
I couldn’t help but smile at that. “No, sir. I try my best to follow them.”
“I know. And I’m very impressed.” His dark blue eyes leveled on mine for several long seconds. “I’ve missed you, Luci.”
My heart turned over in my chest.
Admittedly, I wasn’t as close to Ben or Justin as I’d thought I would be. Sure, we spent some time together, but it wasn’t the same. It felt almost as though they were keeping their distance, trying not to form a connection. I couldn’t complain, because I’d already started to have feelings for Landon and Master and although I knew it wasn’t the logical outcome, all things considered, I couldn’t change the way I felt.
However, when I was with Justin and Ben, I did my absolute best to focus only on them. They were important to me and I’d come to care about them as well. Although these opportunities were few and far between, I welcomed them.
“I’ve missed you, too, sir.”
“I wanted to thank you for checking up on me. I hadn’t expected that.” Justin glanced over at Ben. “My pup informed me that you were asking about me.”
I nodded. “I wasn’t trying to be nosy. I was…I…uh…I was just worried about you.”
“God, you’re sweet.” He motioned for me to get up.
I stood, then allowed him to pull me toward him. I sat on his lap and he pressed his lips to mine. His hand curled around my cheek as his tongue dipped into my mouth.
When he pulled back, I could see the intense lust burning in his gaze.
“As much as I want to indulge in you right now, I know I can’t.”
I smiled. “No, but I could indulge in you.”
“Is that right?”
I glanced at Ben, then back to Justin. “We both could.”
He leaned back and rested his hand on my thigh. “And how would you do that?”
I nodded toward the floor. “May I get down on my knees?”
“You may.”
I got down on my knees, thankful for the soft rug covering the tile, then looked at Ben. “Will you join me?”
“It’d be my pleasure,” he said before getting down on the floor beside me. I turned back to Justin. “Would you mind if we pleasure you, sir?”
His eyes remained locked on mine. “Under one condition.”
I waited for him to continue.
“You mentioned you’d never seen two men fuck.”
Whew. Those few simple words had heat billowing in my belly.
“That’s true.” I hadn’t. However, I had thought about the two of them together on many occasions and it made me hot.
