I bend down and kiss my wife. “Yes, and then we will have a baby girl who looks just like her mother. I will love all of the babies that we are going to have.”
“Gio, I’m not going to have one baby after another. I’m not an incubator.” Everly sounds offended, but I don’t know why. Her husband wanting to fuck a gazillion babies into her is a good thing. How can she not see that? Fucking and babies are both the best things ever; put them together, and it’s perfect.
I give Everly a little nod as if I’m agreeing with her, but I’m not. I’ve already decided. We are having as many babies as I can pump into her. I will just have to be creative about getting her pregnant again, I think, with a smirk.
Epilogue
Gio
A few months later
I’m standing in the nursery, looking over at our newborn daughter in her crib. My sister and mother went all out on decorating the nursery. The furniture is all white, but the walls have very intricate murals painted on them. When you look up at the ceiling or the walls, it feels like you are in the jungle, beneath the trees, and there are different animals everywhere. It’s adorable. The room is full of bright colors.
When Everly went into labor, I saw a new side to her. She was threatening to cut my dick off and wasn’t so angelic then. I almost got scared of her. My wife finally gave birth to our daughter, and thank God she returned to her old self again. I would have had to sleep with one eye open for the rest of our lives otherwise.
She’s a great mom. She lights up when she enters a room holding our daughter. Amelia Grace was born eight pounds. My wife says that’s a large size to push out of her body. I will take her word for it, even though the baby looks tiny to me.
I love sitting in the rocking chair in her room and watching her sleep. I would hold her all night and rock her, but Everly says I have to put her in the crib to sleep, or she will expect to be held all the time. I like to keep her in my arms, but I know Everly is the one taking care of her while I’m at work, and I don’t want to make her job harder, so I listen to her.
Amelia has dark hair and dark eyes. Her eyes sparkle and are a warm caramel brown. It makes them stand out. Her chubby cheeks are so cute, and she looks like a little tiny version of her mom. She’s pure perfection. She’s a gorgeous baby, and Marcello reminds me all the time that I am going to be beating boys off of her with a stick in just a few years.
I will cut some body parts off of any little fucker who looks at my baby girl and mail them to his mother. Amelia is never getting married, and she’s never going to date. She doesn’t need any men. She has me, her uncle Mar, and her grandpa Al. No other men are needed.
I hear soft footsteps come into the room and a small, delicate hand on my shoulder. I turn to see Everly with a smile on her face.
“Gio, what have I told you about sleeping in here with Amelia?”
“You only said I couldn’t hold her while she sleeps all night, not that I couldn’t watch her sleep.”
“Honey, she’s not going to disappear. You don’t have to stand guard over her every night.”
“But what if she does? What if something happens to her? I can’t live with losing her, Everly. I need to make sure our girl is safe.”
She places a hand on my cheek. “She’s safe, Gio. Have you forgotten that you have tripled our security since she’s been born?”
“It’s never enough. I need to make sure you and Amelia are safe. I won’t survive it if something happens to either of you.”
“Come on, husband. I had my six-week checkup today, and Dr. Simmons said I’m healthy and ready to resume ALL activities. I’ve missed you. Come to bed with me.”
“Now that gets my attention. I’ve missed you too. Let’s get back to bed. I wouldn’t want to neglect my angel.”
