“You heard the man, what’ll it be?” Widower asks, leaning forward on her elbows. There’s a mysterious twinkle in her eye as her gaze flitters between Nomad and I. It’s almost…knowing?

“Uhm, just a burger is fine. Water.” Another eye roll from the girl and she’s ordering me a steak, medium well, with fries. Nomad doesn’t let me argue at all.

“So, young man. What were you running from?” I sputter at Rodger’s direct question. Water threatens to come up my nose, the burn like chlorine hitting my nostrils. “And again, don’t think about lying.”

More embarrassment and shame coat me. Thinking of ways to get out of this, Nomad seems to catch the drift.

“If I can guess it, you’ll come back with us. If not, we’ll take you wherever you want to go.” With a thick swallow, I nod. His massive hand reaches over, clasping my smaller one in it.

“Deal,” I croak, praying that he doesn’t get it.

“You got kicked out for hiding something,” he starts, assessing me fully. My shoulders stiffen on their own according, body jerking. “I’ll guess…you came out of the closet?” I shake my head, the lump making air struggle to hit my lungs.

“Not quite,” I squeak. He takes a deep breath, looking around to the other two before leveling me once more.

“You were caught?” He whispers, his finger and thumb gripping my chin and tilting my head to look back at him. I nod. There’s no point in denying it.

That same frilly laugh tinkles from across from us.

“Jesus, Nomad. If you weren’t direct, I’d be concerned,” she smiles, grabbing her own water. I follow suit with the hopes it’ll clear the damn frog stuck in there.

“Well, good thing we’re all about equality and love,” Rodger snorts. I shoot to look up at him, but he doesn’t return the gaze. He keeps it on his phone that he types away quickly on. “You got any skills?”

“Uhm, I’m pretty good with technology?” I say more as a question than a statement.

“How good?” He pauses, looking over at me with a raised brow.

“I hacked several big chain corporations for my father when he needed dirt planted,” I mutter. I’m not exactly proud of things I’ve done in the past. Honestly, I’ve convinced myself that it’s for survival.

“Nice,” he praises, typing on his phone once more. A sound tinkers from it. With a wide smile, he flips the phone to show Widower, who looks just as happy.

“Welcome aboard,” Nomad smiles tenderly. “You’ll be with the tech crew.”

Chapter Thirty-Four

Tearsstreamdownmyface as he finishes his story. A choked sob leaks from me, and I decide this isn’t the time to hold back. If anything, I need to prove to him, them, I’m willing for the next step.

In that case, I launch myself off the bed and into his body. Obviously not expecting it, he flails backward on the bed with me over top of him. In another plot twist, my lips land overtop of his. The immobility of my leg doesn’t help anything, but it’s oddly not that hard to work around when you’re flexible.

“Shit, pretty girl,” he huffs, his hands automatically landing on my hips to keep me still. It doesn’t work once his lower region takes notice of where my crotch is.

“For someone who said I deserve everything,” I pause, searching his eyes. “You deserve the world, and then some.” His fingers gently fist in the back of my hair, bringing my mouth to meet his. It’s a kiss that makes your knees go weak, stars burst behind your eyelids as they devour you. Instead of showing dominance, he pushes submission into it, showing me that he’d rather me be in charge. The free hand slowly tangles around my waist. He keeps me locked to him without suffocating me.

A warm hand trails up my uninjured leg causally, swirling designs and patterns along the way. The sensation simply adds to the mixture of overwhelming pleasure. Ever since my first day in captivity, maybe even before, I’d never felt anything like this.

Both men suck the past right from the present. There’s no worries about what happened before now or what is to come. Simply, we stay in the moment as my core clenches for more. Only the heat of this moment is on my mind, and I’ll be honest, I have zero desire to think of anything else.

“One day,” Nomad breathes, suddenly right next to my ear. “You’re going to tell us about everything you went through.” I suck in a ragged breath as I work to stay in the moment.

“In exchange,” Techy mutters against my lips, sucking my bottom one between his teeth and biting. Hard. “We’ll give you everything you ever wanted.” Sitting back, I stare into the depths of gray swirls. I’d never noticed before, but there are flecks of gold accents. The other male, one that I’d never forget even if he let me, grabs my hand and brings my knuckles up for a kiss.

“You’ll never be without again,” he rasps. Love engulfs me as I realize…I’m falling in love with them. We may not have had that physical piece, but they’ve been proving to me time and time again that love isn’t taught. It’s earned. It’s given. It develops and flourishes with the right amount of nourishment.

It’s like maintaining an orchid. They saw me struggling, realizing that the soul was rotted and had no nutrients left. With the help of Doc, they de-rooted me from the moldy soil and slowly removed me. Then, they started to prune the negative foundation I’d been growing on and give me a mixture of love and structure. They feed me, water me, and ensure I have enough brightness to my day.

“Thank you,” I whisper, turning my hand over in Nomad’s and clasping it tightly. “You have no idea how much this means to me.” My stomach churns with need, the odd desire suddenly ramped up by these two men. If their love wasn’t so fucking sexy…

“You know you’re more,” Nomad mumbles, his thumb caressing the back of my hand. “You’re worthy of more.”
