“Office,”was Vince’s curt response before he abruptly ended the call. I sighed, lowering my phone. Glancing at the clock, I realized we had slept the entire day away. Alison and I had stayed up late playing our games, and it had left us feeling completely exhausted. I turned my attention back to her, still sound asleep beside me. It was an unusual feeling that spread within me, and I found a surprising sense of serenity in seeing her there, resting peacefully without a care in the world. It was hard to ignore the fact that I had been the one to push her into a life of selling herself, and yet now she lay beside me, undisturbed by the weight of that reality. We had never shared a bed like this. Truthfully, I had never shared my bed with anyone, and despite Vince’s impending call, I couldn’t resist shifting back to my original spot beside her. This feeling was new and unexpected, but it wasn’t unpleasant. I rested my head on my hand, reaching out with the other to trace her shoulder and arm with my fingertips.

Having power over Alison had always thrilled me, but knowing I could do this without her resistance or warnings not to touch her was an entirely different experience. I had sought her obsession with the intention of using it to ultimately crush her and cast her aside, and I knew it would satisfy my ego. But I hadn’t anticipated how profoundly this would affect me. Having someone trust me like this was an entirely different level of satisfaction, and it brought a faint, contented smile to my lips.

Yet, I was aware that I couldn’t linger. I gently slipped out of bed to prepare for the day. As I made my way back into the bedroom, I noticed that Alison was still sound asleep. Deciding to bring some food with me, after I had seen Vince, I quietly closed the door behind me and headed toward Vince’s office, where he awaited my presence. He wore an expression of slight dissatisfaction as I entered and took a seat across from him.

“Don’t give me that look,” I said to him.

“You got so drunk, both Alison and I had to carry you,” he retorted.

“You’re the one who decided to tell Astrid about Alison and me,” I countered.

“She is your future wife, and she asked me. It’s not like I ran with gossip. Shouldn’t she know about who her fiancé is obsessing over?” he justified.

“You didn’t have to tell her about our life’s story,” I reminded him. “Some details you could have left out.”

Vince contemplated it for a moment, then raised his shaky hands, which seemed to be trembling even more than usual. “Sorry, you’re right. Perhaps I hoped it would bring some clarity to you, create a distinct boundary between you and Alison. But you’re right. I divulged a little too much.”

I nodded, accepting his apology. It was too late to change much about it now, so it was better to move past it all.

“Is something wrong?” I inquired.

“Delivery,” he replied.

“Is that new? You don’t always send me out that often now.”

“It’s together with the wolves. The first cargo we will receive together. You’re going with them to demonstrate our newfound strong bond,” he explained.

I sighed and reclined in my seat, dreading another evening spent with Astrid’s family, particularly her two cousins who had witnessed me bow and pleasure Astrid.

“Problem?” Vince asked.

“No, it’s fine. I’m guessing I’m leaving right away?”

“You did sleep away most of the day. You’re not too hungover, are you?” he quipped.

I smiled slightly but shook my head. I felt quite refreshed.

“I will grab something to eat, then I will take off,” I informed him.

“Good, let me know how it goes,” he said. “We might be family soon, but don’t let them undermine you. Remember who you are.”

I nodded and stood up, heading to fetch some food for Alison and myself. I would have to leave her for the evening, but I planned on returning soon. I already craved more of her. It seemed like last night had only intensified my hunger for her ass, but it would have to wait until I got back. I prepared a tray with food before returning to the bedroom, where Alison was still resting. I placed the tray on the coffee table and noticed her collar. Holding it in my hand, I realized I had forgotten to put it on her as well. I turned toward the bed, approaching her. Leaning over her, I buried my face in her neck and inhaled her scent before nuzzling her skin, stirring her from her sleep.

“It’s time to wake up,” I whispered in her ear.

Alison stretched her body, and I moved back, watching as her eyes slowly focused on me. When she noticed me holding up the collar, letting it dangle in front of her like the first time, she sighed.

“Really?” she remarked.

“I think you’re forgetting who you belong to, doggy,” I teased her.

She rolled her eyes, but without protest, she sat up, turned, and pushed her hair away. I slipped the collar around her neck again, locked it, and put the key back in the box where it belonged. Then I placed it in my inner pocket, not having a better place at the moment to hide it. Alison knew this room already too well.

“Come, let’s eat.”

“Do I get to wear some clothes?” she asked.

“No, but you get a shower and can brush your teeth if you’re fast.”
