“Not happening,” I told her as I entered my room. I made my way to the closet, needing to pack a few essentials quickly before we headed to my car. However, as I put Alison down to pack, she attempted to run off again.
“Fuck!” I cursed under my breath, the situation growing increasingly complex and tense with every passing second.
Before she could even reach the door, I had a firm grip on her arm, and we tumbled to the ground as she kicked out, causing me to lose my balance. I ended up on top of her, still holding her down. She tried to squirm free, but I seized both her wrists with one hand and pressed them above her head. Reluctantly, I stashed my gun away as she continued to scream, and I used my free hand to cover her mouth, silencing her.
“Be quiet, for fuck’s sake. I can’t think with you screaming!” I groaned in frustration, but she persisted in yelling into my hand. This wasn’t working, and then an unconventional idea struck me. Alison was far too agitated to heed reason, so maybe reason wasn’t the approach I should take. I leaned closer to her, our faces so near that my mouth was almost brushing against the back of my hand.
“If you continue to disobey your Master, there will be severe consequences, my little slut,” I whispered, my words intended to jolt her into reality. “You might find yourself bound, still stained with that bastard’s blood, while I fuck away my frustration. You will be thoroughly used by me, and when I’m done, I’ll simply leave you there, dripping with my cum, waiting until I’m ready again. Do you understand?”
Remarkably, Alison fell oddly silent. Her gaze became more focused, and it appeared that I had managed to cut through the veil of fear that had rendered her unable to distinguish friend from foe. All her mind knew was that she had come dangerously close to death tonight. So, when I observed that she was no longer screaming, merely looking at me with those wide eyes that made her resemble a deer caught in headlights, I slowly withdrew my hand. I did so cautiously, prepared to cover her mouth again if she resumed screaming. When my hand was away from her lips, her tongue darted out to moisten them. To my surprise, as my attention shifted to that tantalizing gesture, my cock throbbed. For a moment, I found myself distracted, tempted to shed our clothes so Alison could use her mouth on me once more and help alleviate this pent-up tension within me.
Something seemed to shift within my little slut as well when I spoke to her in that different tone. Her eyes betrayed more than fear. They were fixated on my lips as a charged tension built between us. I was on the brink of leaning in for a kiss, but our lips barely brushed when I snapped back to reality. I knew that if we touched more intimately, I’d end up having my way with her. My body burned with the need for a different kind of release, a release that would ensure Alison was truly alive and well. But this was neither the time nor the place for that.
“Jared,” she panted into my ear as I shifted my head.
It was clear now that she wasn’t only shaken by fear. She was entirely disconnected from reality. Her teeth nipped at my neck, tugging at the skin. I swiftly retreated, creating some distance between us, then grasped her jaw firmly, shaking her head to bring her back to her senses.
“Alison, I need you to focus, damn it!” I called out urgently.
Alison blinked rapidly, realization hitting her like a slap across the face. However, shock had a peculiar effect on the mind. Her reaction wasn’t surprising to me, but it appeared to leave her bewildered. I released my grip on her, observing as she continued to look up at me, remaining frozen in her spot. Seeing that she was no longer attempting to run or even move, I swiftly got off her.
“Stay right there. If you even think about moving, you won’t just have trouble sitting down because I whipped your ass so bad that you screamed for fucking God to save you,” I warned.
“Why else would I have trouble sitting down?” she whispered, looking up at me, her voice trembling, as I left the sentence unfinished, letting the mystery of it all paralyze her.
I offered her a faint smile, then hurried over to my closet. Grabbing a bag, I quickly filled it with clothes, money, guns, and my passport. I wasn’t sure if I might need to flee the country. I had no clue what Vince had gotten me involved in, but it was better to be prepared. I even retrieved the contract Alison had signed, the one that bound her to me. Then, I hurried back out of the closet and approached Alison. She had managed to get up and sit on her ass, but the moment I reached her side, I took hold of her arm and pulled her to her feet.
“W-Where are we going?” she stammered as I led her out of the room, past the lifeless bodies, and down the stairs.
“Away from here,” I replied.
“What the hell happened tonight, Jared?” she asked, but I remained silent. “Jared!”
I said nothing as I led her to my car. I tossed my bag into the backseat before opening the passenger door, gesturing for her to get inside. However, Alison was slowly returning to reality and hesitated.
“I’m not even wearing pants!” she protested in a high-pitched voice, her fear evident.
“Not necessary. Get in,” I insisted.
“Jared, just tell me what all of this is about. I’m going out of my mind. You... You killed someone!”
“Not the first time. Now get in the car.”
“Not the...? What the fuck? Who are YOU?” she yelled, clutching her hair, clearly struggling to make sense of it all. But figuring things out was a luxury we couldn’t afford right now.
“Alison, don’t make me say it again. Either you get in, or I’ll throw you in,” I warned, pressing her toward the car door.
She gazed up at me with genuine fear, a look she had never directed at me before. Sure, she had been cautious, occasionally nervous, tiptoeing along the edge of fear. But this was different. Her eyes bore into mine as if I had attempted to take her life earlier. I despised that look. But why did I despise it? Why should she not fear me? After all, she had set me on this path to hell, had created a significant part of the darkness within me. Yet I found no pleasure in the fear etched across her face. Something about it felt wrong. But what exactly was wrong?
“Alison!” I roared, attempting to shatter the silence.
“Fine!” she screamed back, reluctantly complying by getting into the car. Deep down, we both understood that she had little choice. It was either accompany me or be left for the wolves. I closed her car door before quickly making my way to the driver’s seat and starting the engine. However, Alison was still trying to recover from the night’s events and uttered a peculiar request, “Seatbelt.”
“What?” I asked, the words sounding surreal as I turned to face her.
“Seatbelt!” She tugged on her own seatbelt, and the command seemed so absurd that I burst into laughter unintentionally. I didn’t mean to. The laughter simply slipped out because worrying about a potential car crash was the farthest thing from my mind.
“That’s not funny!” she snapped, clearly irritated.
