Please don’t say we can’t…
I try to stifle my tears, but I feel a single drop roll down my cheek. His thumb swipes across my face and he wipes the tear from my face.
“I’m going to completely destroy you,” his words are slow and each feel like a knife to my heart.
“Sal…”
“But I don’t fucking care,” his hands possessively slide up my back as he pulls me into him and claims my mouth. This kiss not rough and bruising, but sweet and tender.
“Ruin me. Destroy me. Fucking break me,” my eyes are locked on his, my fingers roaming his jaw as they rub through his soft beard, “Then put me back together.”
“Sarai la mia morte,” he repeats the Italian phrase he had said previously as he gingerly grips my face, “You’ll be the death of me.”
My arms wrap around his neck, and I pull myself against him. His embrace envelopes me as he holds me tight. His hands caressing over my back. My eye lids become increasingly heavy as my head rests on his shoulder.
The loud bang of someone roughly closing the front door startles me and I nearly jump from Sal’s lap.
“You’re okay,” he helps me to my feet. Tucking himself back into his pants, Sal crosses the room to my robe laying on the floor.
He slides the robe up my arms and folds it across my body. His arms encircling me, he draws the belt around my waist.
“Ellie?” Angelo’s voice bellows down the hall and it feels as though my heart seizes for a moment.
“Ellie,” Sal’s deep voice draws my attention back to him, “I don’t care if he sees.”
A wave of panic rushes through me.
I don’t want him to see.
“You don’t get us both, piccolo fiore,” Sal’s voice is warm as he cinches the belt tightly around my waist and places firm kiss against my lips before walking into the hall.
He’s only a few feet from me, but when he walked from the room he suddenly felt continents away.
“I’ll be back down in a few minutes,” Sal addresses Angelo from just outside the doorway of his office, “I need to grab a few things and change for my flight.”
“Your flight?” I struggle to call out to him as I swallow hard at the idea of him leaving.
“I have to head back to Florence for a few days,” he flatly replies, and I hear the soles of his dress shoes making their way up the stairs.
Ensuring my chest is covered and smoothing my hair, I take a deep breath before stepping from the office and back into the reality that awaits me.
Angelo.
“Ellie,” Angelo exhales as he quickly makes his way down the hall to me and his hands cup my face, “Thank God.”
I don’t get a chance to respond before his lips are on mine and his tongue is pressing into my mouth. My heart flutters as his tongue sweeps through my mouth and I gingerly kiss him back. Guilt consuming me.
As wrong as it should feel, kissing him feels right.
Kissing Sal feels right.
He pulls back for a moment and I can see the fear in his eyes as he says, “Don’t do that to me again. I’ve been trying to reach you since last night.”
“I’m sorry,” I mumble as he squeezes me tight against him like he was terrified something had truly happened to me. His lips on my forehead, I feel the warmth of Sal’s cum trickling down my inner thigh.
What am I doing?
And how did I wind up here?
