Suddenly I remember some of the last things that the teacher, Vivienne Henry, said:

We were all flies in a web.

It was enough to drive her to death, enough for her to haunt me.

And I can’t help but think this web was made for three.

And that Brom getting his memories back, realizing he’s possessed by the headless horseman, is only just the beginning. That at some point, if we’re not ready, the giant spider will come crawling out and finish us off one by one.

But we’ve got magic.

We’ve got rituals.

And we’ve got each other, for now.

Either way, I will be ready.

I will protect the both of them.

Even if I have to die to do so.
