‘’You trying to make me blush?’’ I grinned at her.

‘’Thank you Hudson, that goes both ways ’’ she said looking at me with a sweet smile, and we at the same time both leaned forward across the table and kissed softly, right as our yummy-looking food arrived.
‘’Enjoy!’’ beamed the waiter setting us each down our dishes.
‘’Oh we will’’ I grinned, and Taylor and I immediately began tucking into our rich fragrant main, of smoked paprika chicken and spicy chorizo paella, infused with fresh bay leaves and side garnished with fried goats cheese strips, and wild mushrooms which we both really enjoyed.
With the main now over, and the two of us absolutely stuffed, we let our food settle by pleasantly diving back into conversation again, where Taylor let known an idea she’d apparently been thinking about for a while now…
‘’So…what you think?’’ she said looking seriously at me, a little after briefing me on the idea she had.
‘’Well I’d definitely like to hear more, but so far I’m very interested’’ I nodded across at her with a smile ‘’…so much so where I’m actually willing to invest serious money into this with you Taylor, as I already see genuine potential in your idea and vision’’ I told her, and she instantly rose from her seat and rushed over hugging me tightly.
‘’Oh Hudson thank you, from my heart thank you so much’’ she smiled warmly at me, and I smiled warmly at her too while snuggling her closer to me on my lap.
‘’So, tell me more…’’ I said taking a small sip of my wine and looking at her with keen interest.
‘’Well as mentioned, an all-female shelter where every little girl, teenager, or woman who feels unsafe, and has nowhere to go with a roof over her head, would mean something beyond a level of happiness to me. The situation in occurrence when you and I first met, unfortunately happens all the time to vulnerable women on the streets, most of which are just never seen again. And I mean, who really cares right? It’s just one less body loitering the city’’ and I held Taylor close listening on with interest, as she continued to meticulously expand on her own entrepreneurial vision.
‘’…every female that would arrive with us will of course be checked over and interviewed first, so that we have a clear record of each individual's circumstance logged in our computer system. And it would be pivotal if we could somehow get a scheme set up where we can assist in finding them work while residing at the shelter, until each lady is making enough money to secure herself on her own two feet. And for minors, we'll house them until we're able to help find them a home with a trusting adoptive agency. We’ll also provide free clothing, free monthly cycle sanitation, and within the grounds of the shelter, free entertainment for the ladies to enjoy. I want it to be a place of both peace and harmony, where if needed, free onsite counseling can also be provided to help said individual deal with any mental trauma they may be going through. I know not every girl out there will be as lucky as I am to have found her true love, but I at least would like her to have what my true love encouraged me to have, and that’s the opportunity to reach her best potential in life, and be the best her she can be’’ she said looking at me and smiling warmly ‘’I don’t want anyone ever having to go through what I went through’’ she said with serious expressive concern on her face ‘’and I would like to do a city-wide campaign to help spread awareness of the shelter when it's ready, letting females everywhere know there’s a place available they can come to, and be safe in if ever the situation calls for it. And we’ll of course have 24-hour security to protect all individuals inside. We’ll also make contact easy by providing free helpline numbers, email, and if possible an easy-to-download social media app that directly picks up their location if they’re in trouble and unable to get to us -to which we can intervene and dial emergency services on their behalf. Ooh here’s a thought, we can even provide an anonymous chat line for those who just wish to talk’’

With dessert going quicker than it came, I took Taylor’s hand for a romantic slow walk around the pretty glass rooftop restaurant, with us both taking in and enjoying the lovely panoramic view of the emerald city from this height.
‘’Ooh damn my sweet tooth, I’m already craving a second hot Banoffee Pie with salted caramel flakes’’ she grinned licking her lips at me.
‘’It was pretty sweet wasn’t it’’ I grinned back, comfortably cocooning Taylor in my arms from behind, as we stood now looking out together across at the peaceful city skyline.
‘’I still can’t believe I’m actually here’’ she said, her eyes staring faraway at the calm night sky with a gentle smile warming her face ‘’this truly has been one of the best nights of my entire life, and it’s all because of you’’ she turned hugging me tight.
‘’It’s been the most wonderful night for me also my love, like every night before it since you walked into my life’’ I said leaning my head beside hers and kissing her cheek softly.
‘’Aww Hudson’’ she smiled warmly, and we stood wrapped in the warm comfort of each other’s arms, knowing there was no other place on earth we’d rather to be.

‘’Oh cool, look at that’’ I pointed, and we both watched from where we stood as a bright cluster of white fireworks suddenly lit up the night sky ‘’oooh how romantic, it’s someone’s marriage proposal!’’ I gushed watching with eyes wide in fascination, as the huge words WILL YOU MARRY ME sparkled in position in the sky, before fading out slowly like fallen stars, where I continued to watch waiting excitedly for the lucky individual's name to light up next...
‘’Well…will you?’’
I turned slowly, my heart thudding hard, my eyes triple the size stunned with shock, as I looked down at Hudson knelt on one knee beside me, holding in his hand a small opened box with the most stunningly beautiful square cut diamond ring sparkling inside.
I couldn’t move. I couldn’t speak. I could barely even breathe. All I could do was stand there in stunned shock.
‘’I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with you Taylor, but I have, I’ve truly fallen for the amazing woman you are.
