‘’…keep them closed, no peeking’’ said Hudson, and I could hear his voice smiling as he led me carefully in my heels across the graveled grounds outside, with one hand in mine, and the other secured around my waist.
‘’If we’re on our way to another secret room I swear I’m going to kill you’’ I teased, and Hudson instantly roared out with laughter ‘’uh uh, you’re not quite ready for that again’’ he teased back, and I chuckled in laughter myself before feeling his hands grip me to a steady halt ‘’okay, you can open them now…’’
I blinked my eyes open, and there they stayed fixed in stunned shock at the fancy silver chrome sports car with pink neon lighting under the base, sitting before me in the driveway with a massive white ribbon bow wrapped around it.
‘’T-this is for…me?’’
‘’It sure is beautiful. A top-of-the-range Ferrari 488 Spider, fully licensed and ready to drive my baby anywhere her heart desires’’ he smiled softly pulling me close, and placing a romantic kiss upon my cheek.
‘’Hudson this is too much, I can’t take a car fro-‘’
‘’I bought and had it delivered here the day you passed your driver’s test, it's unreturnable now sweetheart, so quit being a sexy brat will you and just take it’’ he grinned, and I jumped into his arms kissing his face all over as he spun me around happily.
‘’Oh my gaawwd, thank youuuuuu!’’ I squealed in excitement, and laughed listening to my voice echo out across the quiet wooded trees around us, before jumping from his arms excitedly saying ‘’let’s take it for a test drive!’’ where before he could answer I was shoving Hudson into the car, which already had the keys in the ignition.
‘’OMG, no way, look’’ I gushed, as I turned the key to start the ignition, watching with fascinated wide eyes as all the mechanics inside lit up pink also! He really had thought of everything, remembering just how much I loved the sight of pretty lighting.
‘’I love…I really love that you’re so happy Taylor’’ Hudson smiled gently taking my hand in his when we were inside, slowing everything around us as his deep blue eyes looked into mine, and the soft stubble from his face lightly grazed my chin as he pulled me close to him for another beautifully passionate kiss, before leaning back and strapping himself into his seat ‘’okay, let’s do this’’ he said with a handsome grin.
My heart felt so warm right now, and so impassioned, as I leaned across and kissed his cheek softly ‘’I love how happy you make me’’ I smiled at him, and strapped myself comfortably into my seat ready to test drive my very own first set of wheels out!
‘’Hold on baby, just one sec’’ Hudson said unbuckling back his seatbelt, and quickly jumped out the car ripping off the large ribbon bow, before jumping back in again and strapping himself up ‘’right then, show me what you got’’ he grinned, and away I went with my foot pressed to the pedal, grinning ear to ear at the wait staff all waving us from the mansions grand doors, as I cruised Hudson and me around the gorgeous light up fountain, and out and around the wide acre grounds of his luxury home.
A half-hour later I pulled us back up to the mansion's main doors and took the keys out from the ignition ‘’that was sooo much fun!’’ I turned and beamed at Hudson.
‘’It really was’’ he beamed back ‘’and I must say those classes really paid off well, the drive just now was pretty slick, so well done you’’ he winked.
‘’Why thank you Hudson’’ I beamed again proudly, and happily high-fived the palm he held up for me ‘’on a serious note, I want to thank you again from my heart Hudson for, well pretty much everything. I never thought anything like this would ever happen to me. You’ve literally taken every hurt I’ve experienced in life and replaced it with happiness, warmth, and amazing memories. I just don’t know what I would ever do without you’’ I said unbuckling my seatbelt and leaning over embracing him warmly.
‘’Well luckily you never have to find that out’’ he said unbuckling his seatbelt also and embracing me back tight in his arms. ‘’It goes without saying you’ve done the same for me and more’’ he said kissing my forehead softly ‘’I really didn’t think I could…care as strongly for anyone again after the way Jessica destroyed my heart. But your fulfilled warmth and sweet kindness has restored everything that darkened because of her. You’re my light Taylor, and I see my future brightly with you in it’’ he said embracing his arms tighter around me.
We sat kissing with the soft lighting and water trickling from the fountain setting the mood beautifully, before exiting out the car together and walking hand in hand back up to the mansion, where the instant scent of delicious food smells came drifting under our noses from whatever the wait staff was preparing us that evening for dinner. And my god did they outdo themselves! As Hudson and I were escorted around the back of the building to where the pool we’d enjoyed when first arriving was, now beautifully lit to the nines with over one hundred floating candles inside, each twinkling out their own warm glow next to the long outdoor table of food prepared for us by the poolside…oh my god wow, how romantic!
I stood smiling in awe at the stunning display before me, before feeling Hudson gently take my hand in his, and over to the table we walked ready to enjoy our dinner. It was our last evening meal that weekend at the mansion before it was back to work as normal from tomorrow. Hudson however made sure to make it a memorable one, upholding as always the exemplary gentleman manner that came natural to him, as he held my seat out for me and tucked me in, before taking the seat nearest mine to sit and enjoy our food in.
We ate until we couldn’t eat anymore, with not a drop left on our plates from the delicious array of Caribbean cuisine dishes the chef had made us. It was the absolute perfect way to end the most amazing weekend of my life, both a beautiful and delightful experience my heart will never forget!
‘’…oh by the way, don’t worry about driving your car back to the city’’ Hudson was telling me a little over an hour later, as we sat laughing and talking away happily by the candlelit poolside, with neither one of us ready for bed yet on account of the beautiful evening we were having ‘’…we’ll head back again in mine, and I’ll have one of my staff follow us up with yours where I’ve already arranged your very own parking space back at the hotel next to mine’’ he winked.
‘’I swear I’m going to smother you with kisses until your face explodes’’ I grinned, leaning in and teasing his lips with a mushy preview.
‘’Ha ha, you’re too sweet, really you are’’ he smiled rubbing his hand over mine on the table ‘’hey I’ll be back in just a bit baby, I need to use the gents real quick’’
‘’I miss you already’’ I waved after him, and he very sweetly came back over and kissed me on my lips, before walking away again with a handsome smile on his face.
Aaahh, this is just perfection…I smiled to myself, lazily stretching my toes out from my heels and looking up above at the blanket of stars in the sky.

I took my cell out from my purse and swiped open the screen…
