“Oh, yeah,” his installer shouted.

Un-fucking-believable.

Hawk’s interruption had triggered their orgasms.

Ken returned to the bedroom, wearing a bathrobe, his incessant coughing temporarily subdued.

“Install’s done,” Hawk bit out. “You have two minutes to get downstairs.” Then, he eyed his employee. “See me before you leave.”

“Ohgod,” Wayne muttered. “I am so fired.”

As Hawk jogged back downstairs, he started laughing. Not only was that one fucked-up scene, the good doctor had been smoking while jerking off.

That was fucked up.

Ken Stoolin hid his age well with his dyed hair and tailored suits, but stripped down, the fifty-something looked like hell. His frumpy, lumpy body and protruding paunch told the true tale. And all that chain smoking wasn’t doing him any favors either.

Once outside, Hawk pulled out his cigarettes. Instead of shoving one into his mouth, he stared at the pack. For the past decade, he’d been ruining his lungs and disrespecting his body. At thirty-two, the smoking hadn’t slowed him down. He was still a fast runner, still a beast in the gym. But what kind of damage was he doing that hecouldn’tsee? What was he doing that could hurt him down the road?

I’m done. I’m fucking done.

With the pack in hand, he approached his installers waiting on the front lawn. He held up the cigarettes. “Any takers?”

One of his guys raised his hand. “Sure.”

After handing it over, Hawk said, “Sorry for the hold up. The new installer was fucking the wife while her husband got his rocks off by watching.”

Several installers burst out laughing, a few looked shocked.

His senior foreperson, José said, “Yeah, Ken propositioned me. Offered me a hundred to screw his old lady while he jacked off.”

“What’d you tell him?” Hawk asked.

“I love my job, I love my wife, and there’s no way I’m doing yours.”

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Hawk asked.

“Boss man, that’s not the first time I’ve heard crazy shit or seen stuff I didn’t need to see. I do my job, go home, and tell my wife.” José shrugged a shoulder. “People are messed up.”

Ken, now dressed, rushed outside, another lit cigarette dangling from his lips. “We’re ready for you.”

Hawk nodded, then addressed José. “Let’s finish the install.”

As they headed up the walkway, Wayne, his installer, slunk by.

Hawk stopped. “You got another install this afternoon?”

“Sure do,” Wayne replied.

“Who you riding with?”

“Me,” José answered.

“Drop him back at the office,” Hawk said before walking into the home.

Hawk would need to hold an all-employee meeting because of this douche bag, get HR involved, and make sure everyone knew that fucking a client was gonna get you fired.

Pain in my ass.
