I nodded, understanding the feeling all too well. "You distract Cae, and we'll go to The Masquerade and see if she's there."

Grey sighed. "Part of me wishes I could go, so I could spank her ass if she's there."

Xav chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll happily do it for you."

Grey growled in response and walked towards his room, where Cae was waiting for him.

I watched Grey disappear into his room, his longing and frustration apparent in every step. Xav and I exchanged a knowing glance, understanding the depth of Grey's emotions and the need to find some release from the tension that had built up within us.

Without wasting any more time, Xav and I quickly headed to our respective rooms to change into something more appropriate for The Masquerade. We knew the night ahead would be filled with temptation and uncertainty, but we were determined to face it together.

As I changed into a dark suit, attaching feathers to my shoulder and putting on my mask, my mind raced with thoughts of Amelia. We had been attending The Masquerade for months, but no one had ever captivated us the way she did in just a few moments. Her presence had enchanted us from the moment we saw her at The Masquerade the week before, completely mesmerized by the almost naked aerial dancers, sparking a hunger that had grown into something intense and complex.

The restrictions imposed by our roles had been a constant struggle over the past week, but the allure of The Masquerade offered a chance to step outside those boundaries, even if only for a short while.

When I emerged from my room, Xav was waiting for me in the hallway, dressed in a sleek black ensemble that accentuated his confident demeanor. The masquerade mask he wore added a touch of mystery to his already striking appearance, enhancing his deep blue eyes. We exchanged a nod, silently reaffirming our commitment to each other and the choices we were about to make.

The journey to The Masquerade was filled with anticipation and nerves. The sensual music and vibrant atmosphere of the venue greeted us as we entered, immediately immersing us in a sea of masked faces and extravagant outfits. The air was thick with a sense of liberation, as if everyone in the room was there to explore their deepest fantasies.

Xav and I moved through the main area, scanning the room for any sign of Amelia. It didn't take us long to find her, dressed in an alluring navy and silver gown, her mask concealing her identity. But I could tell it was Amelia, looking radiant and irresistible. She once again stood on the outskirts of the bar area, quietly observing the mesmerizing movements of the cage dancers.

We watched as a man approached her, and we couldn't really blame him. She was breathtaking. Xav and I exchanged a knowing glance, silently communicating our shared intent.

As we made our way toward Amelia, the vibrant energy of The Masquerade seemed to intensify. The seductive music and alluring atmosphere heightened our senses and fueled our desires. We approached Amelia, our bodies filled with possessiveness, uncertain of how she would react to our presence.

Ihadtoadmitto myself that even though the guy in front of me was cute, there was no instant attraction like I felt with my sweet Apollo. Or his dominant gods. Sighing inwardly, I listened to him talk about himself while still sneaking glances at the dancers.

Maybe because I wasn't fully focused on him, I didn't notice anyone else approaching. But the growl that came from behind him sent a bolt of heat through me. My heart raced as I found myself face-to-face with Xav and Ash, both wearing masks that did nothing to hide their intensity. The air crackled with dominance, and I could feel their power.

Xav's blue eyes burned with possessiveness as he took in the scene before him, his voice low and commanding. "Leave," he growled, leaving no room for negotiation.

The guy who approached me stammered an apology and quickly retreated, clearly intimidated by Xav and Ash. With his departure, a renewed sense of intensity settled between us.

I hummed and took a sip of my champagne, trying to cool down the heat that surged through me the moment I saw them. “I’m starting to think you guys are more like wolves than fake gods.”

Ash scowled and stepped closer. “Yeah, well, we've got a pup at home who has somehow imprinted on you, so you might be onto something.”

I looked down at the thought of sweet Cae. The instant bond we had formed was deep, and I couldn't deny the longing I felt whenever I thought of him. When I thought of any of them.

It was as if fate had brought us together, intertwining our lives in unexpected ways.

“He didn't come tonight?” I asked solemnly.

Xav reached out, gently brushing my cheek below my mask, offering silent comfort. "Cae cares deeply for you already, it's in his nature," he said. “Neither he nor Grey could stand the thought of potentially seeing you with someone else tonight.”

I leaned into Xav's touch as his hand slid into my hair. “But you could?”

His grip turned hard enough to draw a whimper from me. “Don’t mistake us being here for being okay with seeing you with other men. Cae is too emotional right now, and Grey still has his principles. We've moved past them. And I hope you're prepared for the consequences of coming here tonight.”

Xav's grip tightened further, sending a jolt of both pain and pleasure through me. His words hung in the air, warning me of what was to come. I could sense their desire, the possessiveness that ran deep within them.

I met Xav's gaze, feeling a mix of curiosity and determination. "I am. I needed to know if what I felt meant anything," I replied, my voice steady despite my racing heart. "But I've realized that denying myself and the connection I feel with all of you would be denying a part of who I am."

Ash's expression softened as he moved closer, gripping my jaw softly. "We're not asking you to deny anything anymore," he said, his voice filled with tenderness. "But it's important to recognize the complexities of the path we're embarking on."

I nodded, acknowledging the weight of Ash's words. "I understand," I murmured sincerely.

Ash’s fingers squeezed my jaw tighter. “Good, because from now on, whenever you're here, it's only with us, and we won't hold back."
