The phone buzzed again.
Madison licked a trail up Jake’s neck from his collarbone to his earlobe, nibbling along the way.
A loud knock on Jake’s bedroom door froze them both.
“What?” Jake shouted, his voice hoarse and cracking.
“Rise and shine, sleepyhead,” came Zach’s uncharacteristically chipper reply.
Jake furrowed his brow at Madison, confused. “I’m sleeping in today,” he shouted back.
“Ha ha, hilarious. You didn’t tell me your parents were coming to visit.”
What?
Jake bolted upright and lifted Madison off his lap. He jumped out of bed and pulled his sweatpants on before cracking the door.
“Dude, your fucking parents are here. Get the fuck out here,” Zach whispered frantically.
“What? Fuck. Okay, I’ll be right out.”
Madison and Jake listened as Zach walked back out to the kitchen, plastering on a fake chuckle. “He was still sleeping. Can you believe it? He said he’ll be right out though.”
Madison pulled the sheet up to cover her breasts. “Your parents are here? Did you know they were coming?”
“No. Definitely not.” Jake scrambled to the bathroom.
Shit. What am I going to tell them about Madison? Mom’s going to be pissed. Maybe I could ask her to wait here? No. That’s stupid. Fuck it. If Mom doesn’t like it, too bad for her. I’m a grown man, for Christ’s sake.
After using the washroom and brushing his teeth, he came back out to find Madison dressed and sitting on the edge of the bed.
“Do you want me to sneak out? Or wait in here? What should I do?” she asked.
“No. Sneak out? No. I mean, I’d like you to come out and meet them. If you want to.” Five minutes ago, Jake’s fully engorged cock was pressed against Madison’s belly, but now, he felt as shy as if they were first meeting.
“Oh. Okay. Well, yeah, sure. I’d love to meet them.” She smiled at Jake and all his nervous energy melted.
“Great,” he sighed.
“Give me a quick minute?” she gestured at the bathroom.
“Yeah, of course. Take your time.”
Jake couldn’t help but grin as he listened to the water run in the bathroom, even though he knew they were about to walk out to a shit show. He’d been dodging his mom’s calls for weeks now, and she was dead set on having her nose in every corner of his business. He hadn’t updated her on the Calgary property, out of spite probably, and he knew full well she’d be seething by now. Add a surprise girl who obviously slept over? Yikes.
Madison came out of the bathroom looking fresh and gorgeous. He grinned and bit his lower lip.
“What?” She peeked down at her clothes.
“You’re just so unbelievably gorgeous.”
She blushed and dipped her chin.
He stood up and took her hand. “Ready?”
“Ready.”
Jake led the way out to the kitchen, adjusting his shirt and brushing his hair through with his fingers as he walked.
