I turned over and he moved to accommodate me. We ended up with me laying my head on his chest. “Next time?”

“Next time,” Easton confirmed.

"Thank you," I whispered. "For being so kind about this and understanding.”

“It was my pleasure.”

I giggled at Easton’s response because he’d without a doubt brought me a whole lot of pleasure. As soon as I stopped, a yawn escaped from my mouth just as Easton's arms tightened around me.

The longer I laid still listening to Easton’s heartbeat, the more exhaustion slowly took over, and the events of the entire day took their toll.

“It’s time for us to get some sleep,” he whispered as he placed a kiss on my forehead and turned off the lamp that I’d left on earlier that night.

With the room shadowed in darkness, I sighed and shifted my body until I once again found a comfortable spot for my head on his chest.

Within moments, I drifted off into a peaceful sleep, unaware of what tomorrow would bring.

BIANCA

Iblinked my eyes and groaned as I tried to wake from my slumber. The light that was coming in from the curtains made it difficult to see. I was slightly disoriented and confused about where I was. Why wasn’t I in my own bed or in my own room? Memories of yesterday came flooding back and everything started to make sense. I was in Nash’s apartment, sleeping in his guest room because I was staying at Brentson University for the weekend. Then the events of last night played like a movie in my head and it almost felt as if my heart dropped.

Easton and I had slept together last night.

I was no longer a virgin.

Fuck.Panic rose in my chest as I thought of what would happen if Nash were to find out what we did. I was convinced that my older brother was going to kill me. I’d fucked his best friend and I liked it. What the hell had we done?

Speaking of his best friend, I turned over to find that I was in bed alone. I couldn’t hide the disappointment when I realized that he wasn’t here. When had Easton left? Had it all been a dream?

I whipped the covers off my body and stretched. The aches that I felt confirmed that this wasn’t a dream. I checked my phone and found one text message from Lucy asking if I’d had a good night, but that was it.

With a heavy sigh, I stood up and looked back at the bed. I could still feel his touch on me. Although I longed for his embrace again, it was probably best that he wasn’t here. Nash would lose his mind if he’d found Easton and me in bed together. Easton and I didn’t talk about what would happen after last night and I was now regretting that. Questions swirled in my brain as I wondered if this was just a one-night stand or something more.

Did I even want something more?

I had no way of contacting Easton unless I went through Nash. We’d never exchanged phone numbers and unless he’d hidden it somewhere, he didn’t leave a note for me to read.

What would Nash’s reaction be if he found out? He was bound to want to kill both of us so did it even matter? How could I be so stupid as to fuck his best friend?

What the fuck had I been thinking?

No, the issue was that I hadn’t been thinking at all.

I stood up and immediately went into the guest bathroom. I was thankful for whoever was the designer of this unit who decided that there should be an additional door that connected the guest bathroom and bedroom. That way, I didn’t have to walk into the hallway and run into anyone before I was ready. I needed to pull myself together at least somewhat before I would be able to face whatever the world was about to throw at me head on.

While I showered, I ran through all the possible scenarios that I could about the situation I’d willingly put myself into. None of the solutions I came up with seemed like the right one, and I wasn’t sure what to do.

Maybe I shouldn’t be thinking so hard about this. After all, I wasn’t the only person involved, and at the end of the day, I needed to talk to him so we could come to an agreement on what would happen next.

Once I left the shower and dried myself off, I tossed on a black t-shirt and a pair of black jeans that had an intentional designer hole over one of the knees. I tossed my hair into a ponytail and applied some light makeup.

It was still somewhat early, but there were a few events I was supposed to attend on campus today and it didn’t hurt to have a head start and be ready to go now.

When I walked back into the guest room, I found my black blazer lying on the dresser. I moved it and found the rest of the clothes I wore last night folded neatly under it.

So, he had come back in here at some point and picked up my clothes. That would make it easier to hide what happened between the two of us. If Nash had noticed my blazer strewn about, he would’ve had questions about what I got up to last night.
