“Fuck yes,” Kade groaned, his hands grasping her hips and pushing himself deeper inside her. “Take all of that.”
Yes, thank you, she very much would. Again. And again. And again. Until she was right on the edge of coming again, her core tightening in anticipation before an electric bolt shot through her as she climaxed hard.
Kade’s grip tightened, and he plunged into her once, twice, three more times before burying himself as deep as possible and coming.
Ten minutes, an hour, six lifetimes later, Kade pulled out and stood up while Thea slowly came back to herself. Reality rushed back in like an avalanche. How in the hell could she have totally forgotten about the fact that there were other people on the planet, let alone that a good percentage of the ones closest to them were armed with cameras live streaming every moment of the wedding? The very last thing she needed was to have the production team find her with her skirt up after coming so hard her toes curled—again. Yeah, her boss at the museum would really love that.
“It’s okay. We’re still alone,” Kade said as he tossed the condom in a nearby trash can and then helped her up. “Let’s get you back to your RV.”
They got dressed and made it back down the stony path to the guest section of the resort, making sure to keep to the dark part of the walkway when they passed the barn, which was still lit up with music and laughter pouring out of the open windows. Keeping an eye out for stray cameras, they wound around to the back of the RVs where the bridal party was staying.
Her legs still shaky from the orgasms and the fact that she really just did that, Thea walked up the three metal steps to her RV and opened the door. Before walking inside, though, she turned, suddenly nervous about what she was supposed to do next. Did she kiss him? Give a cavalier “see ya, hot stuff”? Run inside without saying anything?
Thea had no clue. Announcing she was up for a hate fuck in front of a room full of cameras and then getting fingered while still fully dressed and laying on a lounge chair before having toe-curling sex wasn’t exactly her usual Saturday night, let alone a Monday night, which it actually was.
Thank God for small favors, though, because she didn’t have to figure out what happened next. Kade made short work of the two steps behind her, wrapped her ponytail around one fist, and pulled her head to the side before proceeding to kiss the sensitive spot where her shoulder and neck met, sending a lightning burst of desire through her. Then, almost as fast as he started, he stopped and looked down at her with such an intense desire in his eyes that she was surprised she didn’t combust.
“Unless I read things wrong, you had fun. I sure as hell had fun. I think we should continue the experiment. Who knows, it may take until the wedding at the end of the week to figure out if slow and intense or fast and dirty is better.”
“You’re saying we have an obligation to science?”
“Exactly.” He tucked a hair behind her ear. “So what do you say?”
She didn’t even have to think about it. “Yes.”
“See you tomorrow, Thea Pope,” he said with a wink, and then walked down the steps and started down the dimly lit path toward the groomsmen’s RVs.
Did she watch him until he disappeared into the night? Hell yeah. That was an ass a person didn’t look away from. Then she walked inside the RV, flopped down on the bed, and shoved the frothy pink bridesmaid dress off the comforter and to the floor. Oh, she’d no doubt hear about how she’d stolen the spotlight (even if unintentionally) from her sister tomorrow, but tonight she’d bask in the unbearable anticipation of what was going to happen next.
Continue the experiment.
Yeah, that was definitely happening. She couldn’t wait.
Chapter Nine
The next morning, Thea woke up to an insistent and uninterrupted banging on her RV’s door.
“Open up, Thea!” Jackie hollered.
With a dose of what-the-fuck adrenaline rushing through her veins, she yanked a hoodie over her sleep tank and sprinted out of the tiny bedroom as all of the possible disasters that would have her sister pissed off that much ran through her head. As she rushed through the narrow living room, she cut a glance at the clock above the large window above the built-in couch. Seven in the morning? Oh God, this had to be bad. Jackie only ever rolled out of bed before ten if she was forced because she had to be on set.
Thea flung open the door to find Jackie standing there in oversize sunglasses, neon-pink leggings with a matching sports bra, a pissed-off expression that had etched deep lines between her eyes, and a full face of no-makeup makeup.
“Was this your whole goal?” Jackie snarled as she turned her phone around so the screen was facing Thea. “Really? During my wedding, you’d do this?”
“I thought we weren’t supposed to have phones,” Thea said, her panic jumbling up her brain.
“Yeah, I told them that wasn’t happening,” Jackie said with a huff. “And things like this are why.”
Thea blinked a few times and wiped the sleep out of the corner of her eye as she peered at the screen. It was a post from Moxie Gossip:
former child star early fan favorite in wyoming wedding wackiness
She flinched back with secondhand offense. Yes, she was still pissed off at Jackie, but they were sisters, and that meant something. Jackie had hustled and fought for the past five years to move past being pigeonholed. Not to mention she was still working on a regular basis. She wasn’t a former anything.
“You’ve done a lot since your child acting days, and they’re a bunch of assholes for calling you that.”
Jackie whipped off her sunglasses and shoved them into her hair. “They aren’t talking about me, Thea. They are talking aboutyou.” She turned her phone around to face her and swiped across the screen before flipping it back around. “Look, you’re all over the socials. Twitter fucking loves you. You’re a trending sound on TikTok. And on Instagram, they’re posting where-to-buy-it videos of your outfit. You. Are. Every. Where.”
