“You never used to be this horny.”
He laughs. “I was better at hiding it from you when you were clueless.”
I close the last couple of apps on my desktop computer and make sure Adrien’s door is locked before we leave.
“So, where are you guys taking me?” I ask.
“My place,” says Reid, with his hand on my lower back.
Nerves spread through my stomach, not only at the thought of being in a private location with Reid but the guys better not be hoping to get lucky because that is not happening tonight.

She’s so cute when she gets all flustered, as she did in her office. She seems more comfortable since she had a chat with Reid in his office. I’d have loved to be a fly on the wall for that. Knowing Reid as I’m starting to, he’d have been flirting up a storm with her. I know she’s had a crush on him for years, and I know before this week, she’d never dreamed of seeing me the way I see her, but I’m not jealous in the slightest. The complete opposite, if I’m being honest. Who knew I’d be more like my boss than I thought? Well, minus the wanting to fuck guys, not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just not for me. Then again, I’d never wanted to share a woman before, so who knows? Reid was a complete surprise when we got to know each other better at ClubHS. I figured he’d be the arrogant prick I’d seen in TV interviews, but he’s more than that. He seems to have layers I never thought he’d have.
Reid is driving us in his SUV to his house in the hills, and it’s not gone unnoticed that his hand has snaked its way over to Jenna’s knee on more than one occasion. She doesn’t seem to mind too much. I can’t wait for us both to get our hands on her.
Reid and I thought meeting at his place would be better since he lives alone and we can have privacy, but we both agreed nothing would happen tonight. This is more about getting Jenna comfortable.
Reid pulls up to a gate and presses a code into the keypad. The gates open slowly in front of us. It’s not quite dark yet. Dusk is coming later and later. Summer will be here before we know it, and Spring came just as quickly this year.
We drive past some trees before turning into a large circular driveway where two other cars are parked.
Jenna looks at me through the mirror, and she smiles at me. I realize she wants to check in with me.
I give her an eager smile back and throw in a cheeky wink. I have something going for me that Reid doesn’t. Jenna and I have a friendship at our foundation. That has to make things easier for her as she tries all this for the first time.
I open my door, and Reid is helping Jenna out of the front seat. He kisses her knuckles, and a small chuckle escapes us.
“You’re quite the charmer, aren’t you?” Jenna says nervously.
“It’s easy when a beautiful woman is getting out of my car.”
“What’s the pass percentage on that?” I smile, patting him on the back.
Reid laughs, and this time it sounds genuine and not forced like I’ve seen on TV over the years. “About ninety-seven percent,” he winks back at us both.
We walk up a couple of steps in front of his house before Reid keys in a code next to the door, which opens in front of us. This place is more secure than theBatcave.
I’m surprised when I walk through the door. I was expecting something completely modern, very bachelor-esq. But Reid has more Mediterranean tastes than I would have thought.
“Oh, wow, Reid,” Jenna says, turning around slowly, taking in the space. “This house is amazing.”
“Wait until you see the rest of it,” Reid says, and for the first time, I see some vulnerability in his body language.
“You guys are the first people I’ve let into my home who are not work colleagues.”
Okay, that speaks volumes.
“I thought we could sit outside by the pool. Order food and talk about what we all want out of this.”
“That sounds great, Reid.”
I reach for Jenna’s hand as she stands beside me, and she squeezes it hard. I look over at her and see the excitement on her face. That one look is the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.
Reid leads us through the foyer. Yeah, this place is that fucking big it has a foyer. He takes us through the living area and a modern kitchen before opening the patio door and pressing a button that lights up the pool area. Tall trees lining the walls shade the outside and hide it from outside views.
