Two words.
Good girl.
They have butterflies swarming in my stomach. I want to hear them again. I want to hear them as Blake thrusts inside of me.
It hits me out of nowhere. I haven’t made much effort in dating over the last few years. I didn’t really see the point when I know everyone in Dixon. No one was really worth making an effort for.
Now, a few weeks surrounded by this man, and I’m ready to give him everything.
“Don’t answer me yet.”
“Why not?”
“I want you to think about it. Really think about it. It’s a big decision.”
Blake’s right. It is.
It’s also one that I’m fairly certain I want to say yes to.
“I have to get going, Gemma. But I promise you, I’ll make it good for you.”
Bending over, Blake stuffs his feet into his shoes. My eyes don’t stray from how good his ass looks in those jeans.
Ogling Blake is my new favorite thing. And all too soon, he’s almost out the door.
“I’ll see you around the ranch.”
“I hope you’ll be seeing a lot more of me.”
With a wink, he’s out the door.
I will definitely be seeing all that man has to offer.
Gemma Winchester won’t be a virgin much longer.
ChapterEleven
BLAKE
Holy shit.
This is good. This is really good.
It’s like a switch was flipped.
For the first time in what feels like months, words are coming easily to me. There’s no niggling fear of self-doubt sitting in the back of my mind. This is something I’m proud of. Something I’m actually excited to send to Clint.
The buzzing of my phone cuts through my work.
Speak of the devil.
I swipe to answer. “Hey Clint.”
“Blake. How’s it going in…where are you again?”
“Idaho.”
“Idaho. I don’t know where that is.”
