We left the main buildings behind us and followed the path through the garden toward the private cabins. The family cabins were the ones closest to the resort and the children’s playground, then there was a tropical garden, and on the other side, the honeymoon cabins.
Each had its own front yard with a bathtub, and it led directly to the beach. There were also taller hedges and strategically placed trees to give the couples more privacy to enjoy their special time.
As we walked past the tropical garden, I could see where we were headed.
“I wanted to take you both somewhere, but the resort reopens in a week, and I can’t be away. So this is the next best thing,” Mal said, opening the door to the last cabin on the row.
He turned on the lights to show the brand-new decor. We’d made the best of being closed to do other smaller redecoration jobs and replace units that were looking a little tired.
All in all, Silver Sands was looking stunning and ready to welcome all the guests onto the island. Considering we were already fully booked until the spring, I wasn’t sure the low season was going to feel that low.
Griff walked further inside the cabin, taking in all the features. The living room with a large couch and a fireplace, the small kitchen with some essentials so the honeymooners wouldn’t need to leave their cabin if they so wished.
We followed him into the room.
“Wow. Can we get a bed that size at home?” he asked.
“We probably should,” I said. “We’re gonna need it.”
Mal looked at me. “Are you saying…?”
I nodded. “I’m moving in. That is if you still want me, but considering Griff can’t let go of my cock the moment I walk in, and you sleep half on top of me when I stay over…I think it’s a sure thing.”
He picked me up in a fireman’s lift and dropped me on the bed. Griff followed us.
“Are you serious, baby?” Mal asked.
“I’ve got my stuff packed. I was going to tell you tonight so we could move my stuff tomorrow. I’ve been dying to move in, but with Gabe away, it didn’t feel right leaving Dad on his own with Zak.”
“He’d have Frank joining a sex cult in no time,” Griff said.
I shivered. “First, I don’t want to hear the words Frank and sex together in the same sentence. Ever. Second, what kind of conversations have you been having with Zak?”
“You don’t want to know, but he has some kind of imagination.”
Oh, I knew, but I didn’t want to say it in front of our overprotective and slightly prone to jealousy boyfriend.
Mal liked Zak a lot when he forgot that Zak and I knew each other very well beyond our friendship. When he remembered? Well, let’s just say that grumpy Mal made an appearance and would only go away with a magical blowjob.
“We have some food in the fridge, and I packed clothes and some…stuff from home. After the party, we can come here and have our own celebration. Let’s say that checkout time in the morning is very flexible.”
We exchanged some heated kisses, and I wondered if we really needed to get back to the party, but Mal’s phone ringing answered that question.
Mal went ahead while Griff and I had a better snoop around the cabin. I’d mostly been dealing with staffing and development as well as building my new role with my dad, so I hadn’t gotten as involved with the renovations.
After we locked the cabin, we made our way back but decided to take the beach walk.
With the sun long gone, the sand was cold, but it was still bearable. The moon was full and high up in the sky, making the sand and the waves look the silver color the resort was named after.
“The resort looks beautiful in this lighting, almost surreal and magical,” Griff said.
He was right. The twinkling lights of the dining hall in the distance gave it an extra dimension.
Suddenly Griff stopped, grabbing my arm.
“What?”
“Look, isn’t that Gabe and Zak? Is there someone else with them?”
