It turned out hedidhave a knack for making things heal faster and saving creatures that most couldn’t. Like the dove with a broken wing he’d nursed back to health or the snake brutalized by a cat.
He wasn’t some miracle worker, but he had some healing ability. Then again, maybe he had performed one miracle as Caro remained with him when he’d been certain she was gone.
Her eyes opened a little. “Hey,” she murmured.
He kissed her forehead, nose, and lips before whispering against them, “I love you.”
The words still didn’t come as easily as he would have liked and sometimes lodged in his throat, but he said them as often as he could. And not a day passed when she didn’t tell him how she felt.
Caro smiled as her eyes closed again. “I know.”
Saber’s attention shifted back to the glass doors. Contentment filled him as he recalled the laughter surrounding him. He was excited to tell Caro about it, but that could wait until tomorrow; she needed to rest now.
Their life would never be free of brutality and death, there would always be Savages to hunt, but it would be a life full of love, laughter, and joy; he would make sure of it.
Saber smiled as he embraced his mate. Feeling blessed, he drifted to sleep, secure in the knowledge they would always be bound by the love they shared. And that love would only grow with their expanding family.

AUTHOR’S NOTE
I'm both happy and sad that Bound by Love is the last book in the Alliance Series. I'm happy because I believe it was an exciting, and fitting conclusion to all their stories, but as much as it was time to say goodbye to everyone, it was also incredibly difficult to do so.
Between the Awakenings and Alliance series, I have been writing in this world since I was nineteen years old. Even when I said goodbye to the Awakenings series, I still had the Alliance, and a connection to the old characters, who could drop by for visits.
That’s gone now. More than half my life has been spent involved with this world, the characters, and their stories. It was so incredibly hard to say goodbye to them, but it was time.
I hope you all loved reading Bound by Love, and saying goodbye to this world, as much as I loved writing all the books in these two series.
Thank you so much for all your love for these characters and your continued support. Without you, their stories might never have been told.
I will continue to write more stories that I hope you will all enjoy just as much. You can read on for an excerpt from my newest series,The Shadow Realms.
Much love to you all.

SHADOWS OF FIRE, THE SHADOW REALMS BOOK 1
Elexiandra tried notto crumple the invitation the crow had delivered as she read it, but her blood pressure rose until it pounded in her ears. The neat, embossed gold lettering was far too cheerful for the words written on the thick parchment.
She’d bet a lot of these invites had gone out through the mortal and Shadow Realms, and that at least a thousand immortals would accept and attend. She didn’t reside in the Shadow Realms, but—much to her dismay—King Tove of the dark fae must have decided to include at least some of the immortals who lived in the human realm on his invitation list.
“What is it, Lexi?” Sahira asked as she appeared at Lexi's side.
If Lexi showed her, Sahira would make her go. Her aunt would prattle on about proper etiquette and how exciting it was for them to get the chance to visit the Gloaming, the dark fae realm. But even if Sahira didn't force her to attend, Lexi had no idea how to get out of this.
