The shock of finding out they were alive still hadn’t set in. She knew it would eventually, and then she’d have to face the emotions the situation called for, but now she had Macy and the rest, and she couldn’t be happier.

She looked over at him. “It’s going to take a little time to digest, so right now, I’m kind of numb.”

“I understand that, Baby. Take whatever time you need. There’s no timetable for this kind of trauma. Just know you’ve got me and a whole bunch of other people that are here for you and love you.”

“I do know that. I love them all, too.”

“But some more than others, right?”

She giggled. “Oh, yes. Let me see. There are the girls I made friends with, my new brothers, and the people helping in the club…”

“Little Sub, you’re pushing it. Do you want a red bottom tonight before I fuck it?”

She shivered, which made him chuckle.

“Oh, and the most important one is my Dom. I couldn’t ask for a better man than you. I love you so much, it scares me.”

“I’ll never be more than a few feet away.”

Cat rested her head on the seat and stared at him. “I know. It’s really hard to be naughty when your Dom is always by your side.”
