“Sorry man, wish I was. She was down by the beach where Raine’s club is. You know, the one you forced me to go to? Anyway, I suspect she’s back at the sorority now.” I grabbed his shoulder. “You may need to consider that cage after all. She looked really into it. Not sure what she got up to after that, but….”
Roach yanked his shoulder away and swore as he stomped out the door. “I’m going to find this guy and kill him.”
I smiled as I watched him get on his bike and ride away. And that was how you fucked with your best friend, who was totally in love and seemed completely oblivious. I could admit it was a little sadistic.
What I needed was a shower, a bite to eat, a pack of ice for my side, and…fuck. Raine was with Avro and Jace, but I wanted her with me. I ground my teeth together, already fucking hating this.
Raine
I was wrapped in warmth and didn’t want to open my eyes. I technically didn’t have a job to go to, but I should call my boss, Chris, and let him know that my family emergency was…not an emergency? I had no idea what to say to him. I’d made up this whole thing about my aunt being deathly ill in another state and how I was going to look after her. I didn’t even have an aunt, let alone one that was sick, and saying she died seemed morbid. This was what happened when you lied. You always got caught with your foot in the pile of shit.
The room was bright. Blinking and rubbing my eyes, I found myself staring at Jace’s sleeping face. He looked so sweet like this. Not the ass that he could be. His long lashes fanned his cheeks, and the messy hair that was almost hanging in his eyes looked like he’d gone to bed with it styled.
Avro’s arm was wrapped snuggly around me. His body pressed tight like he wanted to make sure that I didn’t run off. Glancing over my shoulder, I saw he was still very much asleep, and I desperately needed to use the bathroom. It took some wiggling, but I got myself out from underneath Avro’s arm and down to the end of the bed.
Grabbing the closest T-shirt I could find, I pulled it on. It was a mini dress on me. Laundry was suddenly a necessity. I didn’t have many clothes to begin with and hadn’t done a wash in a few days. Quietly padding over to Avro’s long dresser, I pulled open the drawer I’d seen him pull boxers out of and found a pair with yellow minions all over them. Smiling, I stole those and my phone from my bag before heading into the bathroom.
It looked like I had a million messages from Kai. Unlocking my phone, I started going through them.
K: I hate this
K: I want you
K: Can I come get you?
K: Tink, poke. Poke. Poke. Poke. You can’t be asleep already. Actually, you better be asleep. I don’t want to think about you fucking those two.
K: Why did I type that? Now that image is stuck in my head. Fuck.
I shook my head as I scrolled through the messages that were basically Kai arguing with himself. It was stalker-level obsessive, and yet, I was smiling into the mirror like I was the one that needed help.
R: Hey
The response took a few minutes, but soon the little bubbles appeared.
K: Finally! I’ve been lying in bed thinking about you.
I bit my lip, and even though he wasn’t in the room, I could feel my face going bright red. Glancing in the mirror confirmed my suspicions.
R: Oh yeah? What exactly were you thinking about?
K: How about I show you instead?
A video arrived before I could ask what he meant. Tapping play, the short clip caused my legs to rub together. I pressed play again when the clip ended and watched his hand travel up and down his hard cock. A second video came in, and I hit the play button immediately. This one had sound. He groaned as he worked his hand faster, and I had to lean against the counter.
K: Do you want the ending?
R: Is that a real question?
K: Lmfao. Then you need to come see me. Today.
R: Oh, that’s just mean.
K: Mean is my MO. Today, and I’ll show you the ending you deserve, or…I can just finish now. Here. All alone. Fuck I’m hard.
R: Okay, I’ll come see you, but I have to go to work and sort some stuff out first, and there are errands I need to run. I’ll have Avro drop me off after that.
