It was everything else that came with it—before, during, and after. Damian made certain she was with him every step of the way, even coaxing her to take the lead. Before him, not one sexual partner had made her pleasure and comfort a top priority. And yes, that spoke volumes about her taste in men.

But it also said heaps about Damian. Despite calling himself a bad influence, the man wasn’t nearly as bad as he believed himself to be and something about that was more than a little sad.

Expelling a small sigh, she’d brought her first mug of coffee toward her lips when two thickly corded arms slipped around her waist.

“You made coffee?” Damian’s naked chest warmed her back as he pulled her close, his mouth brushing the back of her neck. “You shouldn’t have…”

He reached for the mug in her hand, which was appropriately etched withWITCH’S BREW.

She pulled it away with a snort. “I didn’t. Touch a witch’s morning coffee and sparks will fly… probably literally.”

“Good to know.” Chuckling, he alternated between kissing and nipping the curve of her neck. “Maybe we can create sparks for some other reason.”

An agreement hovered on the tip of her tongue when the front door jiggled. A second later, Rose’s head turned as her sisters’ voices echoed through the small foyer, and then Vi and Olive appeared in the flesh.

Rose blinked, both mind and body frozen. They all had keys to each other’s places and used them at will. She’d never had a reason to be wary of unexpected drop-ins… until now.

Olive noticed her first, and when the youngest triplet’s eyes widened behind her glasses, Vi glanced their way.

“Well, well, well.” Vi chuckled, giving her T-shirt and panty-clad attire a slow, calculating perusal. “I daresay you have that just-fucked glow to your skin. Almost literally. And about damn time. Where is the lucky bastard so I can thank him personally?”

Rose glanced toward the mirror on the other wall, and immediately realized two things. The first, that there definitely was a magically luminescent glow coating her skin. And the second, that at some point between the front door opening and her sisters spotting her, she stood alone, Damian nowhere in sight until two seconds later when he strode out from her bathroom fully dressed.

Vi’s smirk stretched from ear to ear. “And the source of the glow appears. Hello, Damian. I’d usually ask how your morning is going but I already have a pretty good idea.”

“Violet!” Rose’s cheeks reddened.

Damian didn’t even bat an eye, chuckling in response. “Vi… Olive. The two of you look lovely as always.”

“Then you haven’t seen me after spin class.” Vi wrinkled her nose and glanced at her stylish purple pantsuit. “And this Barney costume is being exchanged for joggers the second we’re done with thisgrand opening. And while I’m being real, I’ll probably force Olly to drive home so I can change in the backseat while in transit.”

Olive chuckled. “Oh, the good ole days.”

Vi took another look at Rose’s half-dressed appearance. “Not that I don’t love the idea of watching Christina’s head spin off her shoulders when you walk into the event wearing your best panty-chic, but it’s a bit cold outside. You may want to throw on another layer or two.”

Rose blinked. “What event? I don’t remember—fuck flying broomsticks. The winery opening istoday?”

“Guess that’s my cue to leave,” Damian announced. He turned to her with a wink. “Walk me to the door?”

“I’m sorry,” she apologized in the foyer. “I completely forgot about this opening thing for my parents.”

“Well, you were a little busy.” He smirked.

Her gaze flickered to where her sisters unabashedly watched, neither bothering to look away. “Sorry about them, too. I wish I could say they weren’t always so intrusive, but they are. It’s our thing.”

“I’m just sorry we couldn’t have a repeat performance before I headed out, but there’s always later, right?” Wrapping an arm around her waist, he eased her closer.

She propped her hands on his chest and sank into his embrace. It wasn’t as if Vi and Olly didn’t know what they’d been up to. A witch doesn’t get a sexifiedglowfrom playing Uno.

“When can we do it again?” She peered up at him through her lashes, hoping she looked more seductive and less something-in-her-eye.

“Eager, huh? I like it.” His gaze flickered to her mouth.

“Are you kidding me? That was the most fun I’ve had in ages… even if Virginia didn’t turn out to be the Big Bad we thought she was.”

It took a moment for him to register her words, and when he did…

Rose giggled. “Oh, did you think I meant something else?”
