“I want to make love to you,” she said so softly against his lips that she wasn’t sure he heard her until he smiled. Her heart seized and stopped pounding in her chest as she stared into eyes that mirrored her feelings.
Her movements were slow at first, and her lips never stopped touching his. She bit his lip and groaned as Jeremy’s hand slid down her ass. He applied enough pressure to her rosebud that every time she slid down his cock, the tip of his finger pressed into her ass.
“Do you like that?”
“Fuck yes. I’m just worried your cock will rip my ass in two,” Morry said, and he chuckled.
“Trust me. You’re going to love every searing second of it. Then you’re going to scream my name louder than you ever have as I make you come again,” he said, cupping her face as he took over kissing her.
Their tongues battled as his movements became erratic beneath her. The water rocked as hard as they were and flowed steadily over the side of the tub as he pounded up into her.
He was hitting all the right places, and Morry was panting, close to coming for the second time.
“Come with me. I want you to come with me.” She groaned as she tried to hold off the building pressure.
“Oh, baby, I can come any time you want,” Jeremy said, and he wasn’t exaggerating.
As she released the hold on her climax, so did he. His orgasm had her wave of pleasure stretching out longer, and she loved when he growled her name. Jeremy gripped her ass so hard she would have his fingerprints tomorrow, and she couldn’t think of anything as satisfying as seeing those marks and knowing why she had them.
They collapsed together, her cuddling against his chest and his arms tight around her. She listened to the beat of his heart. The rhythmic sound soothed her, and for the first time in a very long time, she felt truly safe, wrapped up in his arms.
“I love you,” Jeremy said, kissing the top of her head. “God, it feels so good to finally say that out loud.”
She lazily smiled and gripped him tighter. “I love you too.”
Morry stood in the doorway and watched as Wolf went through all the memory questions the doctor asked. He seemed annoyed with the entire process but was doing what Wolf did best, excelling.
“Blue, green, grass, Ryan Reynolds. Can I stop now?” Wolf said as the doctor set the last image down.
“For now. I’m going to ask you harder questions in a couple of hours,” Henry said as he jotted down notes.
“How is this supposed to help me remember anything?” Wolf said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Henry stood and gave Duke, who was lying quietly on the bed, a scratch behind his ear. “These are simply memory exercises. I know it’s frustrating, but you already remembered this morning that when you got back, you started working as a U.S. Marshal. That is information you couldn’t remember yesterday. It’s coming, and I feel confident making the questions more difficult which will help stimulate your brain further.”
Wolf sighed and turned to look out the window. “I’m telling you. I need to remember faster. Can’t you do something to shock my system into remembering?”
“I don’t advise doing anything drastic that will be traumatic to your brain or your memories. It could push them further away.” Henry fixed his glasses, which never seemed to want to stay in place, and Morry stepped out of the room to let them continue speaking.
Morry sipped her coffee as she walked down the hall and out of the medical building. She could hear Kes and Arek arguing before she turned the corner toward their rooms.
“I’m telling you, man. I don’t fucking snore,” Arek said.
“Oh, so you’re telling me that the snorting hog in heat sounds is just your normal breathing?” Kes drawled, and she almost spit her coffee back into her cup.
“I do not sound like a hog in heat,” Arek said, his voice rising in pitch like he was horrified by the thought.
A series of loud snorting noises filled the air, and she burst out laughing as the two men came into view. Arek stood with his hands on his hips and glared at Kes, who was making the incredibly annoying noises. As usual, Trev ignored them both like they were pesky flies as he sat in a chair and sipped his coffee.
She’d designed the visitors’ wing to have sitting areas outside their doors. Not that staring at a motorcycle compound was the view most would want. Trev looked up and waved her around the other two men, who looked like they would come to blows over snoring.
“You would think that after all this time, they would learn to get along, but they still sound like an old married couple,” Morry said as she sat down beside Trev.
“They would first have to concede to be grownups. I fear that may never happen.” He gave her a small smile. “How is Wolf this morning?”
“He’s annoyed and still insistent that he needs to remember something. I get the sense he’s panicked about it, and I wish I knew how to help him.”
She watched as more of the equipment used to burn and bury the bodies came through the gates and was taken to the back of the property. A backhoe had seemed like a frivolous and over-the-top expenditure when she bought it, but now the large piece of machinery had been a godsend. Though, this was not exactly what she had in mind when she purchased it.
