Jonah looks back to the window. He nods.

HOLLY

It looks normal. You’d never know what it really was.

Jonah slides onto the settee beside her. Both watch the sleeping Baby.

JONAH

If it weren’t for us, it would unleash evil like no one’s ever known. Destroy mankind.

HOLLY

Can it control our thoughts?

JONAH

It can’t hurt us. Gabriel said.

Before Holly can reply … KNOCK KNOCK at the door. They jump up, stare wildly. Silent panic.

JONAH

(whispers)

Don’t answer it!

They creep to the door. Jonah peers through the spyhole.

A WOMAN (20s, smart) looks up and down the corridor.

Jonah moves aside. Holly dives in to look herself.

HOLLY
